This is like a Roy Andersson film. The absurdity (in a good way) in a mundane setting. Poetic and philosophical. The static camera. And you standing still and looking into the lens. So good.
Try rigid toes shoes to balance on narrow ledges. You can use the ball of your feet to pivot around or the arch of your feet to balance. Loved it all!!!
@@shnipswill I did struggled to find the right shoes that do all the things I need them to do. For them to be rigid enough to climb and balance but squish enough to take some of the impact off my knees. Do you know of any specific company’s that make nice rigid shoes? Thanks for watching and glad you enjoyed it!
@@charlesjuggler I started juggling at a park bench. I got bored staying in place so i started climbing on the bench stair master style. Eventually, i was balancing on one leg on the back rest of the bench and i had the problem you described. Once i got myself those toe shoes, it was a game changer. I also tought about using modified bowling shoes because the sole is a rigid platform. I also tought of gluing a rubber sole underneath or skateboard grip. The brand of the toe shoes i use is Vibram. They are rigid enough to support and protect but you get barefoot control. The drawback is no bounce or squish.
Soooo good, 🌟the camera work in some of the shots its just lovely and feels like a real level up for this longer format video. Quality of the video and editing is 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻You can really tell some proper blocking or timed rehearsal of the shots paid off. Chocca with great sections, that never drag, and the whole thing manages to avoid those cliches like: “heres me failing a 100 times then i finally succeed” we see all the time. Instead this was just a smooth, flow of transitions which i feel really captures an element of parkour most don’t focus on. This is a total gem of juggling and parkour. The skip/concrete blocks location was such a great find, and I feel like it will be a fan favourite. Plenty of adorable moments, from the general public and from you, I think I really enjoyed seeing the city as well though, a lot of the shots have interesting angles on familiar places in bristol, and you can feel the good vibes of the place come through. Five star, would watch again….in fact… *presses play button again*
wonderful project!!!
I wish I could craft a comment to accurately convey how much I liked this video.

Bravo! and I'm so glad people still
remember Sean Mckinney
@@BigVine-m5i Such a legend. I never got to meet him and I hope this, in a way, can continue his legacy.
@@charlesjuggler I luckily got to spend time
juggling with him and his partner Steve in
San Diego in the '90s. He was really amazing.
This is wonderful! The amount of skill needed here is next level! I do parkour and I've tried juggling in the past. Neither are easy!
@@lunisPk Very kind words. Thank you 🤘
