I have been using this for quiet a while. The tip broke on my first ship. The seller was kind to sell another top section free of cost. So now I have 2 tips. The one that broke is about 5 inches from the top. I fixed it with a top guide and now it serves me very well for top water baits (3-5g)
That rod is $38 right now. Excellent deal, but I already bought a month ago a similar rod, the Abu Garcia Carabus Delicate Ultra Light rod, 180cm 0,3-2,5grams and I'm more than satisfied.
I've had mine, probably close to a year, when they first came out on Ali. I also have a couple ace hawk's. I like the AG but I like the Ace more. I throw the same lures on both. I think when you hook into a fish probably a pound and over the Ace handles it better. So for me if I could only have one it would the Ace since it throws the same lures and handles the fish better for me, plus has 2 tips. I do have to say when I'm creek fishing I usually take the AG over the Ace, since the one I have is a little shorter and seems very light in hand.
You have the first edition which has a smaller reel seat. The newer ones have since fixed that. You can tell it's the newer one since it won't have the little skull.
İ have the 3 piece version i think it was 1-6 gr very good travel rod However i encountered an issue aldebaran 22 does not fit well on the reel Seat , i had hard time to set it tight the screw comes un done is it a faulty sample dunno maybe others can confirm it ?
Is the Venom drastically different than the CU Double other than aesthetics? I’ve been using that for a little over a year for panfish and haven’t found a reason to replace it.
Is this rod good for bass. Is there. A decent reel in the 40-50$ range wanna try bfs but don’t know if it’s something I’ll like don’t wanna spend more then a $100 for a setup

why do you use a multiplier for left-handed people? If you cast with your right, why don't you roll with your left hand? Isn't that more natural to you than passing the rod from hand to hand after casting?it seems totally amateurish to me.
I grew up using a spinning rod and reeled with my left hand. When I tried a baitcaster for the first time it felt very awkward to reel with my left hand.
@@THEREELTEST I don't care what other people do, but if they present something, I expect a certain level of professionalism so that the presentation would have at least some credibility. I can't take seriously a recommendation for a rod from someone who doesn't know how to cast with the hand he's holding the rod ....
Love to see your faith posted in front of every video. Keep up the faith brother!
I am glad to see you reviewing this rod, Mins is on the way. Looks like I made a good choice!

That would be good for me on my kayak. Good crystal clear video and sound. Thanks
The new Kuying has a longer hand grip and is very comfortable. I have the venom with the Abu MGX Extreme and love it.
Yea the grip puts me off that model so good move by them. I imagined it was the same grip as the spinning version
still too stiff. Im not spending the money on another TTC. Id rather just have a custom rod built

wow the price dropped then
Excellent rod, I have one. Good pair with the KastKing Valiant Eagle II reel.

Been eyeing this rod for awhile great review
Thanks for the review. Noticed this offering from Ace Hawk awhile back and the price seemed reasonable. Full size grip also. Just ordered 2
Could you please make a full review of the kingdom solo 2...
For what conditions is the 6'10" model more suited?
Any suggestions on one piece rods such as the jenko double down 6’6 rod in a medium light or light action rods?
You have the first edition which has a smaller reel seat. The newer ones have since fixed that. You can tell it's the newer one since it won't have the little skull.
then I have one of each
If you like UL spinning rods... try Defy 13 silver rods..

my 22 Aldebaran fits great
How would this rod be for ultralight? Thinking about trying to cast 1/32 and under. I want to pair it a Genius.
How much does the venom weight?
My 7' weighs 2.7oz - 79g, so when the spec sheet says "not very much", they're not kidding! 👍
The reel test did you buy the 7’ version and what are the differences between the two? I have a CU double and was thing of getting the 7’ venom.
I didnt get the 7 ft version
I’ll mainly be throwing a 1/16-3/16 so this should be a great rod for that huh? Paired up with the soloking Acura pro and 10lb snipping braid?
Sorry if I missed it but what Lb test are you running ? I had 6LBS fluoro and my rod snapped fighting a 2lb bass
for the fishing portion it was 4lb

The AG venom is not as stiff and has a more predictable casting taper. Better for a beginner in my opinion

Thats i called reAl test :) Nice fish! Thanx!
How about minnow's?
should be a great micro jerkbait rod with small trebles
Broooooo.....this is the combo I will get to pop my BFS cherry
I mentioned you and this combo in my latest video. I will have to order it tonight. I'm grateful for your knowledge, it made the decision easy for me.
I notice Americans don't cast handles to the sky, you should try it, minimises backlash so much.
Because many use left hand crank😄
Ya otherwise I’m pointing mine to the ground haha
thats because casting like that doesnt give any advantage. If it did, the pro bass fishermen would be doing it

This look similar to kuying ultralight rod
Is there a spinning version?

I’ve been trying to get a hold of AceHawk bc I received mine with a broken tip top. Can you somehow get me this Thomas’s contact info? Please?🙏🏼
