i wonder, how will the enemies act or look ? according to google acedia is "not caring or not being concerned with one's position or condition in the world".
I originally wasnt too sure how I felt about this from the small teaser they showed but after being able to listen to more of the song, It actually goes really hard.
Woah this is really cool, the clicking sound at the beginning and the echoey bells really create a strong atmosphere. The way this builds up gradually is also so well done. Great work!
I cannot express in words how much I absolutely dig this track. While the inspiration is rather evident at times, it never to a point where it is distracting; it stands on its own really well! Also, it is awesome to see you branching out into new styles, this is absolutely phenomenal - especially those poly-rhythms!
The terminal says Acedia and Sloth are layers 4A and 4B respectively, so I am curious how they will differ in terms of music, gameplay, and aesthetics. Also love the RoR style of music.
considering how much the tracks more akin to ultrakill's OST go hard, I was definitely surprised you dislike working in that style Fully understandable tho
the main reason is that after doing amen breaks and soundfonts for so long it's gotten really repetitive for me, so I kind of just stopped doing those. At the time I made most of the intrapture tracks, I still enjoyed working on this style
@@onyxdragon622 Skilltest 2, the Seed of Violence tracks, anything im and will be uploading intrapture-related past this song, and a song i havent uploaded yet that i probably am going to soon
Oh god i love the ror sound of this so much
was a welcome surprise to hear progressive rock for a purgatory level
I was the one to suggest the jazzy tunes after the RoR2 DLC came out
yeah the moment val confirmed the style was risk of rain inspired it was easy to clock in that you commissioned this
😭
And this marks the first released track of Deathgrasped Impurity.

Acedia basically means emotional sloth or apathy, the jungle maze could symbolize this since jungle mazes are hard and slow to navigate
@@myleskahre9143 maybe both the streetcleaners and the firestarter rocket launcher might finally get some non combat use ala the way to access 7-s
Temple Run monkeys obvs #trust

if this is the first track of Acedia i rlly cant wait to see how the rest of the layer "feels" serenaded by this style, awesome work
