You're lucky you got your Glasses from this seller you linked. They lied to me firstly about having stock, and secondly about the shipping date. Based on their firm assurance that they had it in stock I paid immediately. Shipping date came and went, nothing. A few days after I asked why my order hadn't shipped, they took a few more days to reply and then said I would have to wait more than a MONTH for it to ship! Thankfully, they refunded within a few days of my request. Westerners HATE being lied to by sellers that LIE and just say anything to get the sale done!
As I've broken my regular glasses on the 26th of December, I've passed my order from Canada the next day, the 27th of December... and I received my INMO Go Glasses on the 3th of January! Since then I've ordered a pair of lenses for the prescription glasses furnished with the product. Right now I'm exploring all the INMO Go features and my first appreciation is that it's a great product corresponding to all my expectations. BTW I've learned from INMO's support team that there is a new upgrade coming out soon that will add new capacities (like an OS in more European languages than just English and Spanish).
Hello Jason! I've been looking into getting these glasses, as I'm deaf myself. I do have a question. Would these glasses translate from spoken english to english - as I think it would be beneficial for me, and could you note the accuracy of it as well? Thanks so much.
@@ThatDeafDude they do but the rumor mill says that inmo and rokid are working on some new smart glasses Inmo has already stopped updating these and you would need to have the app open to use the feature anyways My best suggestion would be to look at G1 smart glasses or wait and see what inmo/rokid are releasing Frames by brilliant lab is also a good choice if affordability is what you are after
Thanks, Jason, first western review of Inmo go. , I have a couple questions. Does it has camera? Its mirror mobile on glasses? Language translators, support what languges? Which is best GO or Air 2?
Maybe I can comment. No camera on this device (it is less intrusive and battery life is btw improved). Yes it's mirroring notifications (Meet, Agenda, Gmail, Outlook, Messages, WhatsApp, Telegram, Zoom), its support 20 contacts call, adding navigation, translation from and too Chinese simplified, English, Japanese, German, French, Spanish, Corean, Russian and Italian. There is also an AI assistant (based right now on GPT-3), a music player and a teleprompter. I prefer INMO Go for the glass's appearance, the duration of the charge and the utility of its features for a normal use.
Hey Does the Inmo Go have a microphone built into the glasses.... or does it require your phones mic for captions? I want to buy them for real life captions but not sure if it is capable.
Hi Jason. I have the inmo go I just got the inserts done by lenscrafter. I am having problems with general operation. I have download the app and paired to my phone. Both arms have a button that turns on the display. What's the difference? How do I move to the apps on the glasses? What is the TouchPad? Can you help, or direct me. Thanks Ben
I'm not an eye doctor but my best guess is that it should be able to Just make sure you have the prescription inserts for the glasses and have the inserts fitted with your prescription lenses and then it should work
Yes, there was a recent update that allows live transcription. The only thing is you'll have to leave your phone on with the app opened to use that feature Hoping the Inmo figures out how to allow users to use these features without needing to have our phones out
Have you been able to? Have the Assistant respond without opening your phone. The AI. Only responds if your phone is open. Is there any way to add any apps with APK?
The phone needs to be opened to use the AI feature sadly. The OS on these glasses is very limited and does not support adding apps. These are more of a HUD style approach. If you're looking for AR glasses that have apps I recommend checking out Inmo's air line of glasses. Vuzix has some good offerings too but it's a bit on the more expensive side of things.
Assistance is pretty good The only downside is that you need to have the app on your phone open for it to function. It has a couple of modes like chat buddy, sight seeing guide, and online research It's neat I just wish it didn't require the app on the phone to be open
@@jasonhedtke659 hey, thanks for the speedy answer. Really appreciate the review, as you mentioned you’re not sponsored so it’s a lot easier to take you at your word.
