Out of all of the episodes of press your luck that I have checked out, this may be my very favorite. What an excellent episode. And Joanne would have something to remember for the rest of her life. And Susie to. I hope our marriage is still going strong and last forever
I don’t care how old this show is: It exemplifies human behaviour so well. And watching someone hit a whammy when they are wagering so much, makes me laugh so hard.
This episode is one of Michael Tiller's (thegameshowtemple) favorites. According to him, JoAnne was one of THE gutsiest players ever on the show. Would you agree with Mr. Tiller on that?
If you have $6,000 and 5 spins, I would definitely have passed them. The odds seem good that the other player will get a whammy somewhere in there and not be able to catch up to your total.
It's bizarre that Susie is once again sitting on the left and the runner up is sitting on the right and loses by getting the 4th whammy making Susie the winner.
While I do agree that JoAnne was one of the show's "gutsiest" players, it really only served to ruin her chances of winning, for if she passed she got the $4,000 she had a good chance of Susie hitting a Whammy during that run and ultimately lose which would've allowed to try for more the next day.
I would say yes. She had a shitload of money, and that many spins would ratchet up the pressure on Joanne, especially once she hit whammy #3. But hey, she almost climbed the mountain, and almost beat those odds.

Congratulations to Susie!! Being a retired champion. That came down to the wire.
And Susie’s Clapping Hands win her Cash & Prizes together!
Susie is not only good at Press Your Luck, she is extremely lucky. She won by the other player whammying out on square 17 twice.
Edward Shore her hair is stunning 😂

R.I.P. Michael Tiller.
Cliff looks a little like a young Joe Paterno, tinted glasses and all.
Suzie was the first $25,000 winner since Jesse back in February.
This game really can give you a heart attack. That was an intense ending.
18:02 Wow, game over.
What a game
Kansas is a city? And Cliff come on man, that was multiple choice.

4, but yes

Suzie would catch up with the 3 left over
Suzie's cash total is $15,366.
Dan Barker She won a car on the previous episode...
Now no one can go 7 passed spins like this and get a Whammy.
Was Suzie right passing 7 spins to Joanne?
I would say yes. She had a shitload of money, and that many spins would ratchet up the pressure on Joanne, especially once she hit whammy #3. But hey, she almost climbed the mountain, and almost beat those odds.
this was the 2nd time someone hit DOUBLE YOUR MONEY spot not the 1st. They got it wrong
Oh, yes
Had square #17 gone from $700+OS to the trip to Dallas instead of the Whammy, Joanne would have won with $17,188.
