i have had ton of surgery where i was put to sleep in the united states as a kid and more so, as an adult, but have never have seen an anesthesia induction room as a patient nor as a nurse. i always was put to sleep in the operating room, endoscopy suite // interventional radiology operating room, or rarely, the emergency department. are these induction rooms mostly seen in the united kingdom or mostly outside the united states? i may be on the wrong area, but am curious as pain management improving quality of life fascinates me.

All surgical theatres in the UK as far as I’m aware have induction rooms. Although this room maybe bypassed in an emergency theatre such as CPOD.
If the patient is coming from a helicopter usually they are already sedated& intubated
