Now this is the PERFECT demo of all the demos of factory patches i have seen on YT! You didn't try to give us a damn 3 day music fest of every single patch. You said "Here! Tbis sounds like this! Moving on"! And i personally appreciate that very much. A blueprint for all other demos to go by. You are without a doubt an awesome keyboard player and there is NO QUESTION as to any doubts about that. And you have the spirit of s true musician. You don't have to show off. Your talent simply shines in 3-5 second samples while you let the instrument itself shine its performance capabilities. This all being said with great respect, much admiration for your talent, and a better understanding of the instrument. Many thank you's!
The thing I liked about the DGX piano sounds when I tried one is that they aren't overly sterile, you can hear some subtle character and imperfections in the samples like unison out of tune ness (very subtle) which makes it seem more like a real acoustic piano.
Thanks for sharing, Bastian. I bought a second hand DGX-630 a couple of years ago that I haven't had much time to use yet, better dust it off and start playing!
Thank you very much! 0:48 Mozart - Turkish March (Part) 0:56 Billy Joel - Just The Way You Are (Chords) 1:04 Jamiroquai - Virtual Insanity (Intro) 1:45 Jan Nooter - Gib Frieden, Herr, gib Frieden 4:51 Madonna - Sorry (Intro) The rest is just improvisation =)
I have this piano Yamaha GGX-630 at my house for a long time. But I don't know to play the piano. I hope to learn soon. These songs are amazing. Hugs and Kisses from Brazil Renno Danielle
It's not just a digital piano because it offers also keyboard-features like rhythms and accompaniment. It's great for the price but it isn't available anymore. If you are interested you should take a look at the follower: Yamaha DGX-640.
I don't know, but I'm very interested in your first song. I like your fist song very much, but you said that this was your improvisation ^^". I really think that you need to continue to write it and give it a name :)) By the way, I wanna thank you so much again :)
Thank you very much! You should practise frequently and train also different styles and improvisation. That's very important. Try to use and design different sounds. It will last a few years, but if you train hard, you will get better skills on keyboards/piano.
What is the Chapel Organ tune starting at 1:43? Is it just an improvisation? It sounds like a 16th century Spanish/Italian keyboard dance tune. Thank you for posting this video. I thought of upgrading to a Yamaha DGX in a few years. If it sounds this good now, I can not wait to hear the new models of about a half decade from now.
whats difference between the 630 and the 620 model anyone know? I found a DGX-620 for sale locally on Craig's list for $450, thinking about getting it.
How to record and repeat? I am playing Smells like teens spirit by Nirvarna and i can't figure out how to get the chords since they are WAYY to hard to play with both hands at once. Help!
hook it up to a line in on a computer. Or hook up the midi port. Or, the old fashion way: a good microphone. You could also use a HD camera with a good mic in it.

I used Yamaha LP-7 Pedal-Unit (Sustain/Sustenuto/Soft). I recorded the audio via Cubase.

Can I create and save my own styles / rythms / beats? Within the keyboard?
If not, can they be imported? From where and how?
