    Is your payout proto48? It's hard for me to tell. Beautiful work either way.

      No, Gary's layout is standard O scale, but with hand built trackwork to very fine standards, so
      it is difficult to tell the difference.

    I never got into model trains but I wonder why radio control hasn’t caught on especially in the larger scales. It seems to me there would be advantages of not having to depend on the rails for power.

      I agree, if I was starting over again at the beginning in a larger scale, I would seriously look at radio control. I believe it's catching on in the UK.

      2 rail o scale. You might not know it because 90% of o gaugers are in 3 rail.
