@iskercherry He built the infrastructure cyber towers and convinced Bill gates to come to Hyderabad and establish their organizations here in hyderabad. What he did is he just planted a seed and later all other companies came by themselves, he didn't bring. Development is not what politicians do, it should happen by itself but who is going to start is important. May be in Bangalore I think private owners had enough infrastructure for IT companies to establish there. I don't know. During his tenure within 5 years Hyderabad city has changed a lot. People who had visited Hyderabad before his tenure and after his tenure had said these words because they can identify the changes. The only mistake he always does is, he doesn't focus on poor people's welfare schemes but this time in their manifesto he also mentioned those schemes as well, let's see. But here the thing is if government focuses more on welfare schemes, it will be a loss for state government. How come the income is going to generate for government. Only when new companies come, people gets employed then only income will be generated in the form of tax to state governments. During his tenure in AP before 2004 all the basic commodity prices were very stable like tomato 5 to 10rs/KG. There were no ups and downs in basic commodity prices during CBN's tenure but huge hike of tomato price is seen during YSR's tenure. Why? Because of the welfare schemes he implemented. So there should be a balance between welfare and development. If development happens welfare happens automatically no need of schemes. He was also a very strict leader during his tenure he suddenly used to come to government offices and see whether everyone is working or not. Not everyone does this type of checks. All these things I have heard from people. You need to listen to his speeches, he knows how to use natural resources for development, like few days ago he was talking about 2000 TMCs of water from godavari river going waste. How to utilize that water for power generation. He has good knowledge on geography as well. Why other politicians doesn't get ideas like him or why they don't speak like him. Other politicians just say I give 5000/month just enjoy but who is going to generate income. You should think from broader perspective instead of blindly believing things.
