We just got back from Mohogany Bay a couple weeks ago, it was incredible. Just one item I'd like to mention regarding renting a golf cart. There are many golf cart rental companies close to the airport. If you choose to rent from them, it would still be wise to have the Hilton shuttle pick you up and take you to the cart rental place. This way, your luggage can stay in the shuttle and you can take the cart to the hotel. If you have more than 1 luggage bag, you will not be able to carry luggage and people in the cart. I also recommend this on your departure as well.
Not sure if this is the right place to ask a question but I looking to book this for my family of 4 and as far as driving from airport to Hotel and how safe did it feel? Easy to do? This sounds like a fun thing to do for us do.
Fabulous!!!!! Make sure to take the boat tour out to Shark Alley, its really a great experience. Sharks are not dangerous there even the guides wrestle with them.
I want to say thank you for this comprehensive review. I just looked at the reviews on Google Reviews and they are all over the place. Granted, reviews are always subjective I feel as if you have done an amazing job on setting the expectation on what to expect. I am going here next week for my birthday and I was already excited, but now I am at peace with my decision over the Marriot branded hotel. Thank you for this.

its unique alright... it's the only development on the island ... that with the correct wind.... you can actually enjoy the smell of the town's sewage settling ponds.

Excellent work. I was just wondering about prices, were you talking. U.S. or Belizian dollars? The exchange is two to one so the difference is sugnificant.

I am seeing some mixed reviews online about the quality of service and mosquitoes around the property. Would appreciate thoughts as we booked a cottage for a family of six. Thanks
Hi John , yes, we did have problems with mosquitoes while we were there. But really that was the only issue- they come out at night. It was really anywhere on the island we had issues with mosquitoes.

Not sure how much there paying RUclipsrs but this place is a scam!!! Smelly, loud and full of all kinds of bugs. Staff is FOS! It’s in the worst possible area of Belize and does not represent the beautiful island. We left after one day and went North where we had a fantastic vacation. Don’t believe these payed reviews

Yes you are correct we had just a couple of small bags with us and it was just the 2 of us.

I’m sorry I can’t recall. This is a great choice for the island. Rent a golf cart they are fun to explore the island

We were there for 5 nights.
Does google maps/gps work there? How did you know how to get from town to the hotel?
