💬Plot summary:
Shen Jin grew up in luxury as a member of the royal family. After the emperor decrees an arranged marriage, she is married off to a general who defends the borders. Although she falls in love with her husband, general Chu Xiu Ming, at first sight, she finds it difficult to blend in.
Shen Jin gradually sheds her spoiled and entitled attitude and becomes a force to be reckoned with. With her unconventional methods, she solves many of the army's problems and comes to earn their trust and respect. However, there has been a shakeup in the imperial courts and the Chu army becomes a target. Shen Jin's parents are held hostage against their will while Shen Jin receives orders to act as a spy for the emperor. Can the married couple weather the storms to find happiness and peace?

Nicely said. And, true. Xu Kaicheng/Mumu did it for this American a year ago! Wu Xize has captivated me. Wang Anyu intrigues me. It’s not just the production and story, but the storytellers that keep me wanting more. These you g actors are of great caliber.
Haha it is the most classic(common) form of romance being portrayed for thousands of years cause its euphoric. But i advice you not to expect a lovelife in this light in real life or ull be wasted

I instantly became a fan of Caesar wu from the start of the show, but this scene just shows how good of an actor he really is! Loved the chemistry between Caesar wu and tang min!!! I have watched a lot of his shows and seen him act with various Female leads, but none could match the chemistry between these two! Hope to see these two together again in another show!

How naturally he cried! He promised his wife to protect for life and now he his going to lose both his wife and his child. What a drama! When I started to watch the eps. I had no idea, Jin made him crying helplessly. Xi Ze and Tang Min and the whole cast should be greatfull to the creative team of G.L.

@@magdaazevedo8831 no episódio 30 em integra a cena da saida deles tbm não mostra, apenas esta cena do desespero, eles fazem um silêncio como se aceitassem a morte e uma luz se acende, dando a entender que SUSU encontrou o dispositivo que abre o alçapão, dps há uma ruptura no tempo. So I see a common question of ‘How did they escape?’ I personally found it pretty obvious, but for those wondering, go to the time stamp -> 11:39 in this video. You SEE and HEAR the trap doors open with faint sand fanning down. You basically have to use the visual representation they give you which was mainly the cut to dark and then the scene with the crying and then the sudden sound of the trap doors opening and light pouring in.
