    I have been fortunate to hear Malladi brothers kutcheris for more than a decade & every one of them enthralled me and other rasikas. They are god given prasadam to connosieurs of Carnatic music.

    While announcing the names of the Artists, please include the name of the Thambura Artist too. The Artist who plays the Thambura .
    a Special person esp in this Kutchery, since he is a matured person, and one can notice his participation, from his face, and you will see how much he enjoys the performance while playing the Thambura.

    Basic courtesy of introducing the Thamburi player left out. Quite normal in Kutcheris. A humble request to the Brothers. While shipping hot water, please have it traditionally, without touching the lips and teeth. 🙏

    It is not good manners for the front row audience to walk out when the Thaniyavarthanam commences.
    We are insulting the Artists by doing so .

    I wish Malladi brothers are accompanied in Mruthangam by Trichy Sankaran ( if available) or Great Tiruvarur Bhakthavatsalam or Srimushnam or Mannagudi or Patri. Umayalpuram because of his age might have restricted the concerts. There is a perceptible difference in the percussion standard of above vidwans and that of KV Prasad who unfortunately does not make the grade of above vidwans. It would be absolutely enjoyable & absorbing if Malladi brothers are accompanied by Tiruvarur / Trichy Sankaran / Srimushnam & on the Gatam by Karthik / Suresh / Vakkom Purushothaman instead of Kanjira.

      Please don’t upload such negative comments. The accompaniment is amazing. Do not comment unless you can play that well.

      Sri. K. V. Prasad is an experienced senior artist who showed his talent quite early in life (yes, I have heard him play when he was in his early teens), and he has always maintained a stage decorum and a style of playing mridangam that complements the vocal/violin performance without intruding on the flow of the concert;
      Sri. K. V. Prasad has ably demonstrated his virtuosity and professionalism as an accompanying artist in this concert as well. I can confidently say that all the "great" artists that you mention could not bring anything more to this concert than what KVP has already accomplished here.
      Shame on you for thinking otherwise - Rude!
