If you listen closely you can hear one of the female secret service agents saying "What are we doing? What are we doing?" That's like saying 'I don't know what to do!' WTAF? I've seen that footage dozens of times, and every time i hear something else, and this was the first time I heard that. omg As for Tom, he's spot on, and I see in his other videos that he's not right or left, and definitely not extreme right or left. But i think this rocked him the way it rocked most of us. It would be nice if the decent democrats will speak up and speak out against the hate on their side so that they are SEEN and HEARD and VISIBLE. When Trump ran the first time the 'silent majority' started to speak up and speak out, and many democrats on the left who felt unheard voted for him because he listened. Anyway, didn't mean to go there, but Tom's reaction to that assassination attempt reminded me of how the good people on the left spoke when they realized someone was finally listening to them. Then on Saturday evening, this happened, and he and Nova stayed up all night making "You Missed".

I seen where there was an American snipper had this gunman n sight for 3 mins and head of Secret Service wouldn’t give the go ahead to take him out…… idk if that’s true but it’s what I’ve heard from quit a few diff sources
I keep hearing people say that, but never with a source. I've also seen two interviews with former Secret Service agents who said no one needs to wait for permission in a situation like that. I'm thinking they're probably right

@@user-zi3nr6vm2s I'm guessing that photo is probably the one that's been everywhere, of the two on the roof behind the stage. I don't think they were watching him, I think they were looking for him. There is also video of them during the shooting. This is purely my own speculation, but maybe you can watch the video and see if you think it fits.
You'll see the one with the tripod looking through a scope, lift his gaze over the scope, look surprised, and then appear startled when the shooting starts before he goes back to the scope. I think he'd gotten comms about someone on the other roof and was looking for them. I think his scope was at a high magnification which makes it hard to find something closer, so he pulled away from the scope to get a better picture of the roof. I think he saw the shooter for the first time, then went back to the scope but the shooting had started.
It doesn't look to me like he fired at all. At the congressional hearing today they said that wasn't the team that shot the shooter (there were apparently 4 counter-sniper teams). So it doesn't seem to me like he was waiting, but then again I'm guessing all this from a few seconds of video.

quite the song to start listening to Tom! he isn't usually quite so raw but he is definitely willing to speak what he believes and many others do too. his music always had some kind of message... often political. As for the incident itself...this was a total fail in security and it is definitely a miracle of God that he lived. The "right don't riot" line is on point cuz if it were biden the country would be burning. instead trump supporters went to church and prayed for their country and set up a go fund me for the families affected that has raised over 6M total as of a couple days ago so I'm sure it's even higher now.
"Is this what Tom MacDonald is all about?" - No, not all, but he does have a lot of political songs in that vein. Probably 3 or 4 per album. He's been fairly centrist, but largely critical of the far left. People are saying this is the song where he picked a side. Time will tell.
