After locking my center diff the front and rear started clicking. Then the front went bad. Used CA glue and baking soda and locked both. 1 full size and 4 shorty lipo runs and no problems. The 4 diff gear screws are too short, allowing them to back out just enough for the gears to start skipping and making clicking noise. This thing is a beast !!!!!!! I Painted mine red to.

The stock shims inside the diff wear out fast and then the spider and side gears strip. I haven't had any issues after locking up all 3 diffs.

The stock shims are useless. They will wear out in 1 run and cause everything to strip out. I locked my kit up with jbweld. 👍🏻

Mine seems F'd too, maybe 7 or 8 easy runs. A few speed tests on flat ground, climbing a hill slowly, but probably from getting into tall grass and getting wrapped around the axles, front and rear diffs not working right.

BTW I had EXACTLY the same problem as you. Front left would spin. I'd take it apart, put it back together and it would work fine for a pack or two then break again. Diff was fine. I locked it, same issue. I thought I was going crazy. The facebook group thought I was an idiot. I spent 300 bucks on vitavon axle housing. Didnt fix it. I spent another 180 on vitavon knuckles. Didnt fix it.
I was then in for about $500 and the stupid thing still didnt work. I was about to sell the damn thing but then I came to the conclusion the front left CVD axle is fractionally too short and locking in the wheel hex was causing it to pop out from the diff after a few runs. I ended up shimming it but you have to get it exactly right to the point where the axle fits into the diff but you can still attach the wheel hex so everything is super tight.
Seemed to be fixed but Im now afraid to use it incase it happens again, because then I will really lose my shit, so its now a shelf queen. This may not be your problem but just throwing it out there because its a strange one that nobody else seemed to be having. Maybe its a quality control thing around the tolerances or something.
I wasn't using a servo saver btw and I've wrecked 3 servos. I think theres just too much effort required on turning those big wheels, so I bought a hot racing servo saver which seems to have fixed it.
Anyway, kudos to you from the channel. It is good to see someone from Scotland who loves the hobby enough. Im from Belfast but live in the states now. Keep it up.
