This is a strange compliment, but I have this on when I'm working on my computer, and when I'm actively listening it's great, but when I'm locked into my work...I can. It's a really consistent, solid, and nearly seamless mix. Thanks again.
I hear ya...makes perfect sense. I think I go through the same thing when I am working and something like this is playing as background noise...I can't concentrate. Basically, anything that has a harsh sounding drum machine or too bass heavy I can't listen to anymore as background music. There are some songs in this mix that dont belong with each other and that is disturbing too...especially for me. Now I'm listening to waterfalls and birds chirping and zen music as background noise when I am at work....and it just gets worse as I get older.
