But he's scared that he might get hurt again or lose more loved ones. He could believe that he's cursed, or is fit to be unhappy. I would not be surprised that he changed his outfit either. It all depends on the next episodes and how they are layout or how each characters interacts with him.

But also Bryan still has this little connection with Glitchtrap when he was being mind controlled and thus leaving Bryan with a dark fear that Glitchtrap is still alive somewhere out there in the world, doing something to get his revenge.... and thats my theory etc. I hope you like.
