Its the first taraweeh of Ramadan 2024 and I'm here listening to the Quran while doing homework instead of listening to music and even though I haven't really learned how to read the quran yet i'm wayyy more focused with this
For those who are confused, we can listen to the RECORDED Quran while studying, working, driving, etc. Yes, it is different from DIRECTLY listening to the Quran (as in prayer, we have to keep silent when the Imaam is reciting al-Fatihah, and we can recite it afterward even when the Imaam is reciting surah laazim since al-Fatihah is compulsory to recite in our prayers) ^^ Being silent and listening with attention is our manners in respecting Quran (as mentioned in surah al-Araf) and it is not a sin to listen to the RECORDED vers of it while working as it is lighter than listening to it DIRECTLY ^^ Ofc you can listen to Quran before sleep and it is fine if you are sleeping with the Quran still playing ^^ Thank you, spread love .

To be clear and to remove the misunderstanding, we cannot refer and translate directly from the Quran if you were to talk about Surah Al-A'raf:204. As we know, the language use in Quran is very noble and high, and not for us to interpret based on our little knowledge. For what Ibn Kathir explained in his book, Tafsir Ibn Kathir (the highly acknowledged book with one of the most comprehensive and complete explanation of the Quran), Surah Al-A'raf : 204 is telling us to respect the Quran with manners, opposite of what the Quraisy disbelievers did to Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) while he was performing his prayer because they don't want others to hear what Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) was reciting. But, Ibn Kathir mentioned that this is only for the Fard (compulsory prayers 5 times a day), just like the hadith narrated by Abu Musa Al-'Asya'ri R.A. Still, have to put in mind that in Mazhab Syafi'i, some said this is Sunnah, and others have the opinion that it is compulsory (this mazhab is applied in Malaysia, not sure about other countries, you can refer to others if we don't use the same mazhab, I'm sorry in advance). To conclude, listening directly (mubasyarah) from the reciter has different hukm than listening to it from the recorded one, both has distinguished hukm on the listener and the reciter/Qari. I am very happy that non Muslims can hear the glorious Quran. It’s heart warming and makes you very calmed and relaxed even if you couldn’t understand anything. Because it’s the word of Allah (God). I highly encourage non Muslims to read this book with proper explanations from known explainers like Zaire Naiek or Mufti Menk. It’s the truth and the path of light.

glad to see more people doing this, when i was pregnant i couldn't sleep well and listening to tilawat helped, when i had my baby i was alone in a foreign country and this helped and constantly reminded me i wasn't alone, when i was depressed or anxious it helped and today im studying and came across your video, made me very emotional happy knowing that theres more people who rely on tilawat for relaxing and use it as an alternative to music:) all those who believe one shouldn't not do anything else when listening to tilawat also need to understand that intentions matter more than actions, and not listening to tilawat at all because were all so busy always is better than listening to tilawat as part of our regular activities be it in the bachground. exercising,walking,cooking,studying,background tilawat in the morning all sound better than never taking the time to listen to such beautiful recitations at all

I listen to this every night and I dream about Mecca, it’s so peaceful and when my teachers say you can hear music i hear this Quran. It’s so good and I just love it. It’s helped me so much thru my hard times and made me pray.❤️

Studying organic chemistry during listening ,Its so calm
I’ve been doing really well on my exams lately but today I had a panic attack and was just really exhausted of dealing with all these things I’m a smart student but I’m not on top of the class even tho I’m literally trying my best but those past days I’ve just been crying and doing nothing else it’s really hard for me to keep up. anyway, listing to Quran really helps me to calm down, at first I didn’t really listen to Quran that much but I started listening to it lately and it helped so much!!! So I hope I’ll get the highest and the perfect mark on my exam 🥹!!
