Cool video man. I'm wondering if the default controller settings are the best to use? I think it's set to 'absolute' by default, is it best to leave it or change it to camera relative? I like playing in broadcast when I'm not online or in my mycareer where I use the 2k camera.

Just picked up the game, first NBA game I'm playing since NBA live '95. I'm struggling with the dribbling, since shooting and dribbling are both mapped to the RS. I want to dribble but my guy will try to pull up for a shot. I'm also using the default camera view.

Behind the back step back. Use the trick button while you roll the stick in a u. Right before you switch hands press the step back button

How to select player wanna do a practice for shooting, dribbling and etc?

So in the size up package, there’s the main size up you can do and then there’s this walking size up? The one where you slowly walk and dribble forward, or the one where you walk backward while dribbling. Anyone knows how to do that? I’ve been trying to do it but i haven’t figured it out yet.
I know for 2k21 I used to just press but analog up I love that dribble

On FIFA, when you do skill moves, your right stick movements are always relative to the way your player is currently facing.

What’s the difference btw normal and basic animation. Most of my dribbles that all I can get and which one u recommend. Also what dribbling style.. power, quick, shifty?
Power cuz you'll have a slower dribble anyway, so your moves have to be minimal if not more precise.

While I did enjoy the fact that you gave the moves their proper context it would've been nice to get some combos for creating space. I try to think of myself as a sim player but I will admit dribble moves are weakness in my game. Unfortunately 2KU just shows you how to do the moves but provides no context for them and doesn't really have a real training mode. I think this is just gonna be a deficit of mine in this game.

@@voggsp now that they nerfed speed the cpu is always gonna be there. Your dribble moves are more effective against the cpu in the sense that you don't need as much space/misdirection as you would for a real player

I have never been able to get any dribble moves to work on 2k. If I can figure that out that would help tremendously but man they fuck the game up with non sense. Lay ups should not be missed. Heavily contested or not. These dudes in the NBA finish lay ups

You need to go to controller settings, pro stick Function and do dribble moves

Same as you would if u was dribbling just flick the left stick in the direction as well and he should do it. Let me know if that works

If EA patched the Drive Camera..so that the 3 point line doesn't disappear (The closer the ball is to the rim) it would be a 2k/Drive hybrid..which is how the game should be played.

..you can also perform fake pull back/behind the back..by holding RT/R2 flick RS down left(if the ball is in your right hand) then flick the LS up right..
