  • Methodology of mass-rearing and biology of the biological control agents UU (Eueupithecia cisplatensis and E. vollonoides) on Parkinsonia (Parkinsonia aculeata).
    A showcase of the mass-rearing and biology of the introduced biological control agent Eueupithecia cisplatensis (UU) and Eueupithecia vollonoides (UU2), which were introduced to assist with the control of invasive weed species Parkinsonia aculeata.
    Funding partnerships with MLA, CSIRO and Australia's Federal Department of Agriculture and Water Resources, Queensland’s Department of Agriculture and Fisheries mass-reared the agents at Tropical Weeds Research Centre in Charters Towers. This project involved partnerships with many regional landholders, stakeholders, and local and state government agencies throughout Queensland, Northern Territory and Western Australia.
