My fav band! Thanks for reacting. OneOkRock is always goated in live. I’ve been to some of their lives and they sounded amazing. It’s enjoyable to explore more of their live, they have heavier songs, also ballads.
The song was written for when the age of voting went from 25 to 18 in Japan. There is another version of this song from 18 Fest. The band sings this song with about 4000 teenagers from 17 to 19 years of age. It is very emotional. It's worth it to check it out. ❤
Welcome to OOR rabit hole. You really can pinpoint their style of rock. It just is one ok rock. They dab in every type of rock. Metal screamo, soft ballads rock, pop rock, anthem rock, punk rock some of it with a touch of country gospel reggae. All of it. They are amazing live. They live their fans and their craft. They are highly influenced by Western world music, they are good friends with linkin Park they have collaboration with 5 seconds of summer, sleeping with sirens, Avril laving, teddy swims Ed sheeran, against the current and many more. Their label is fueled by Ramen. Taka lead singer has been living in LA for a few years. They are Japanese and are not very fluent in English. They are the most humble band I've been blessed to see live. They play as you've seen stadium of 50,000 plus people to little venues with less than 1000 people capacity with the exact same passion and dedication. Please react to more oor. ❤❤❤❤
OOR is my favorite rock band. The members are Taka (lead singer), Ryota (bass), Toru (guitar) and Tomoya (drums). They have a huge following in Japan. Taka writes many of the lyrics and he wants to deliver a meaningful message. He has not only a great voice, he's also a very emotional singer and his interaction with the crowd is awesome. OOR is a rabbit hole to go down. They have soft ballads, hard rock songs with growls and screams and everything in between. There is something for everyone. Check out "Take what you want" from the same tour (AMBITIONS JAPAN DOME TOUR), "I was king" (orchestra version), "Good Goodbye" (an acoustic song), Renegades (co-written by Ed Sheeran) etc. They have so many bangers. I had the pleasure to see them live in Germany last year. It was at a smaller venue with about 3,000 people, but it was an amazing experience.
When he says we are the colors in the dark, the meaning behind it is in the dark, no one can see colors. Black white asian Mexican etc, we are all the same
I always interpreted it that we are all bright colors, that shine, and not even darkness can suppress that. Your color (brightness of your personality, not your skin tone) will always be there, even if darkness falls on you.
