I love yours vids thought I was subbed to it but now I am. I use a tenkara fly rod The Yari and I love it. I use a longer leader just to reach out and let it sink more. But you have helped my fly game immensely 💯💪🏽

Thanks for showing what flies you're using. I think they'd work for fly fishing our man made lakes in the Phoenix area as well. I landed a little bass like the size you snagged here in the Youngtown lake with a yellow wooly bugger last night. I was pretty happy.

Yep, I think so. I've only ever caught them on my 6wt, and my biggest was approximately 13-15 lbs. I know a lot of folks who fish them with 7 and 8 wts. 🙂✌️🎣

It's a 13 ft rod, it's one of their heavy sets they have and made in Japan as well.
