You guys should definitely do an episode going into dreams more, i have this thing where if i am having a scary dream or an uncomfortable dream i find something off in the dream like a light switch in the wrong spot in my house and then i can hear myself saying wake up wake up wake up and i snap out of the dream and actually wake up and after hearing alex talk about him snapping and waking up it blew my mind !!

I have a few dreams that reoccur, but I think my favorite one is when I'm flying around in a Target and knocking stuff off shelves and clothes racks and such while someone is chasing me and I'm zooming like soooo fast through that store. 😂 I even had one in a weird dreamy version of a Walmart, and some sort of mixture of a Hen House/HyVee

Dude, I'm so glad you guys are talking about all of this, it's interesting to hear your experiences! Being that I'm Wiccan, it's known for experiences like this and having that spiritual sense to be hereditary. My mother is a 3rd degree Priestess and she grew up in a haunted house as well. All of us kids have experienced seeing and hearing things first hand multiple times after we visited her childhood home.
The meaning of spirits and ghosts varies from person to person, but we like to think that ghosts are trapped between worlds who, like you both mentioned, have a task or attatchment on Earth still. Spirits are normally kind, but have a choice to choose between going and staying. These are what we were taught growing up, but it's definitely a very intriguing concept.

Whenever i have a weird/scary/heart wrecking dream i would somehow noticed that I'm dreaming and tried my very best to change/control the story so it wont scare/hurt my feelings so much 😅😂.

“Sam and Kobe” LOL. Roi and I have the same reoccurring dream about college even though I graduated and have a 9-5 now. Something about always missing a test or an assignment. I figured it’s me in real life stressing about deadlines lol. Then also the one about the house! I have nightmares that are set in my old childhood home even though my parents have been living in their new home for like 10+ years and I even lived there for a bit. Can’t figure this one out because that house wasn’t haunted I believe. Nothing traumatic happened there, had a very normal childhood lol. Very weird lol.

As a Filipino that's living in the Philippines, Roi's story about the Kapre, I think it's being confused with the Tikbalang, which is another creature here. The Tikbalang has a horse for a head and torso of a man but legs as a horse again. Kapre is a giant that lives in large trees with its big cigar. The Kapre has more human like features.
I freaking finished my homework!!! I must not slack in college because Andrew's still going strong and college is no joke. I tried to listen to the podcast while doing my homework but I wasn't fully listening and I wanna do that so now it's time!!!!!!!
I am sensitive to ghost/spirits and have always felt them and see them or shadows especially when I'm alone . I have been visited by /seen actual 2 ghosts: first was my grandfather the night he died & I believe he was letting me know he was okay ,he had cancer & he past before I could get to hospital after getting the call that he was dying. The second was my step-grandfather several days after he died. I was suppose to go visit for Thanksgiving & didn't make he died the next night & grandma said he had asked if I was coming to visit ,my grandma gave sereval of his things including the rocking chair he always sat in(which is were I saw him)and I believe he also came to let me know he was okay because I was feeling bad for not going to visit before he died. Because of this sensitivity to ghosts/spirits I feel very uncomfortable when visiting hospitals,nursing homes & funeral homes !

I’m more sensitive to energy as well. Every once in a while there’s something that gets into my house and my dog goes crazy and I have to pray over the house for hours for it to go away. I also used to have this recurring dream where there was a spirit attacking me and when I tried to pray my mouth would go numb and I wouldn’t be able to talk.🥲

i’ve have weird ghost experiences but not like i’ve seen or heard anything, i had a pet hamster at the time and i was the only one upstairs and who came upstairs i put my phone down on my bed and went to the bathroom (bathroom is right next to my room) and returned to my room when i opened my phone it was on google with pictures of hamster coffins..my hamster died like a week later…idk it was just odd

I feel like the difference between ghosts and spirits is that ghosts are lingering souls of people who have passed on while spirits are energies tied to this earth (which would tie into the positive & negative perceptions)

It was “my jealous girlfriend is ghosting me?” The question was actually how do you get someone to like you and I remember back then thinking the whispered voice saying “to be with me?” But compete/be with me, either way very creepy lol. Should def go back home to investigate Alex’s parents house lol
Also, the hair 😮💨. Long hair actually suited Roi but the fade makes him look younger. And I’ve always stood by Alex looking better with shorter hair lol. The mullet is definitely better than what’s been going on for some months now though lol.

A ghost and spirit are the same. The woman in the house was an evil monitoring spirit. If you have one trying to harm you, it's a demon.
Usually if we ( here in malaysia ) went to a very " tempat keras " ( haunted/dirty place) we would always ask for permission to enter or just speak up in a polite and humble way as to let them know of our presence.. also to mention that we came with good intentions, that we wish no harm be upon us... And if we leave a certain place that we're not familiar with , we would also say " titivo sunduvan (say your fullname or a baby's name if you brought along a young kid to that place) kanou noh muhi "...this is a kadazan's Language which means " Come On Spirit of (your fullname) Let's Go Home! "... This part is usually the ethnic/race of KadazanDusun from Sabah, Malaysia a.k.a Borneo would say before returning home as to ensure that your spirit OR the young kid's spirit is not left behind. We believe that if we're in an unfamiliar/new place we need to remember to call out our spirit to come home now before leaving as the ghost/lost spirits from that place would find interest with whoever has a weak spirit/soul (someone who is easily " Disturb " , vulnerable or an innocent young kid ) and would want a " friend " to stay behind with em...one time when we went to a certain place that's total new to us, we brought along my lil cousin. It was a lovely day but when we returned home, we (my cousin's parents) forgot to say those particular words that i mentioned.. and at night my lil cousin cried so much and having nightmares.. we were so confused on to why was she crying so hard but then my auntie remembers that she forgot to say the words before leaving.. so the next day, they had to return to the place and called out my lil cousin's name and chant the words a two or three times.. after that my lil cousin was no longer having nightmares nor crying

Ghosts actually have to listen to you when you say, Dont follow me or dont come with me or go away please and if they dont listen after the third time, you need to see someone. I also think roi gets it from his dad but his death awakened it, so theres a lot of
, id say, types or levels with knowing ghosts are present. My family has a lot of third eye people in it which we call a gift, we got from our grandparents or great grandparents. Ghosts will not do things unless you really mean it like ‘please show me that you are here’ but you can’t ask them to touch you because sometimes they cant do that or they can’t move things and can only just play with lights or make certain areas cold. I think your parent house needs to be blessed, for them to actually be safe from things he might be scared of. Since you both are filipino, its common for people from the islands to have this gift. and yes Alex, you can smell ghosts.
also usually when your father is sick thats when hes supposedly at his weakest so spirits or ghosts will try to attack him but if it cant come in the house then I think the house is safe
I grew up in the Philippines! Currently living in Canada now but I also had A LOT of ghost experience back home. Same with my family who live there now. I truly believe the Philippines is just haunted lol
