I struggeled with my looks a lot too. long story short: when I was 24 I decided to do something about it. I had pectus excavatum (you can google it if you need details). It was both physical and psychological sufferring, low selfesteem, no sport possible, bad physic - even lower self esteem. I fugured I cannot get proper treatment in my country, so I investigated options abroud. Found the surgeon, checked the price. It was huge. It took me 2 years to get the money and arrange it all (trip, surgery, recorvery), but I did it. It then took me 3 months to recover from the surgery itself. In another 3 years I went back for the follow up surgery, but I was already making a lot of progress - doing sports, enjoying the new energy levels, doing things I would not dare before (like going to the beach :D), starting to like myself. I am now 3 years post the 2nd surgery (which was final, removing the implanted bars) and enjoiyng the jorurney of life. My point is: set a goal, make a plan for your life given the cards you have been dealt with, and get cracking. Depression is a slippery slope, I would encourage you to see professional help if it is really bad for you. Also consider following Dr. Jordan B. Peterson - he helped me a lot too. I have protruding eyes I think it's caused by thyroid problems, I was always fun of etc. I want to get orbital decompression surgery but don't know if the NHS in England will pay for it or if I need to go private?
