What I would have said about the tikitok on Parent's Day is that it's the 4th Sunday of July, which is July 23rd this year. So there literally already is one. You didn't need to go on this whole thing about how Mother's Day and Father's Day became a thing. It seemed to me a bit like you were invaliding the trans woman's feelings on the topic by pointing out that Fathers' day was just men feeling left out and then consumerism doing it's thing. Also, all Holidays are made up. It's just so weird to be like Mother's day is real because it was made up for a more valid reason than Father's day so Father's day isn't real. It just seemed really unnecessary for you to go in so hard on this trans woman who was just being vulnerable about her feelings regarding Mother's day and Father's day. You could have just been like "I see how you could feel like that. That makes sense. Did you know that there is a Parent's day already? It's the 4th Sunday of July in the US." Instead you went on this whole rant about how Mother's day is real and valid and Father's day is fake and dumb and also, Parent's day is weird because it should just be everyday. Like let me just invalidate everyone else's feelings on being a father or a parent. Also, if there is no Parent's day what does a non-binary parent get to celebrate? This was a huge L at the end of this video. imo.
OMG, WHERE DID THE TRANS WOMAN ADVOCATE THAT WE SHOULD ABOLISH MOTHER'S DAY? You really didn"t like her saying what she did? This is like so fucked up that you're making it seem like that's what she was saying. Huge fucking L! I'm so mad right now! There literally already is a Parent's day. We didn't combine shit we made a new day called Parent's day. Everyone can still celebrate Mother's Day, Father's Day and Parent's day currently. Also, there is Global Parent's day which is Today June 1st. You usually do good research for your videos, I guess you missed some stuff on this last part of your video. AGAIN, nobody is asking to "erase" Mother's day. JFC. The reaction to this trans woman's video comes off as so bad faith, you keep saying we shouldn't do this or that which are things she NEVER mentioned in her video. This was a Big Fail + L + Ratio + you're wrong + you did your own research and it sucked. Sorry, I'm angry ranting but this the first time one of your videos has ever upset me like this.
31:26 I was trying to find more info on the topic of Father’s Day and I couldn’t find anything, is there anyway you can give me a link to one u have found? - thanks so much
I would love to do it, but with my adhd i just cant agree to the mandatory automatic refill. I know this has nothing to do with you, just the company, but its a little disappointing
Look at Canada's healthcare crisis or the NIH in the UK. The rainbow dye has clearly been seeping into your brain if you don't realize that the crisis in those two countries comes from less and less people going into healthcare due to diminishing financial returns coupled with an increasingly reliant population. Don't hurt yourself by thinking too much because it's clear that you braindead socialists don't understand anything about the real world or people's motivations/incentives.
The TikTok with the debate over "people with the capacity for pregnancy" is wild to me. Like even disregarding trans men and AFAB nonbinary people, plenty of cis women are infertile, post-menopausal, or have had their tubes tied. You can't generalize, no matter what, that women=people with the capacity for pregnancy
Not to mention he can't understand how denying a person's existence could lead to violence. Like I don't know maybe if children knew that different people existed then maybe they wouldn't bully their classmates who comes out as trans, gay, bi, ace, aro, non-binary etc, have self loathing if they realize they're the one who has a different gender or sexuality than cis and straight, and maybe people wouldn't go attack and/or yell slurs at some poor gay couple who are just shopping with or without a child/children. It's been proven time & time again that teaching children about those who could different from them or them being different is okay but people like this don't see or don't care about the harm of trying to force children to be something they're not when they don't turn out to be cis and straight. It's a conditional love and it's very toxic to the poor child who is the target of it
I'm pretty sure that it's also within scientific context that terms like "people with the capacity for pregnancy" are typically used. If someone is talking to or about a specific pregnant person or someone capable of pregnancy, they use the preferred pronouns and no one gets invalidated or their feelings hurt either way.
@@theepicpop-tartcat thats whats used even when talking about cis women according to my gp friends! like not every woman has the capacity to be pregnant, and not every person who has the capacity to be pregnant are women :) !
You are completely right and I have nothing of value to add, I just wanted to ask if your profile picture is from the extended Zodiac
That’s true, but women and girls and the ones being targeted for these anti-women laws. It is because of sexism that they are passing fascist laws to take healthcare away from women. Same that trans people are affected by the anti-trans laws because of transphobia and trans hate. But now anyone can be arrested for wearing pant or otherwise not dressing as their “gender”.
Conservatives saying every baby has to be born but healthcare isn't a right is just the wildest shit to me.
Most conservatives do not say that. Most conservatives are pretty "normal" and view abortion as an undesirable situation and not something that should be normalised. They also think there should be a limit on term and that if an abortion has to happen to do it as quickly as possible. Not 6 months or later definitely. Most object to 2nd and third trimester abortions when the baby is an actual baby but there is variance in the term that is acceptable if it must happen. They also feel it is wrong to use abortion as a convenient method of contraception. On the healthcare is a right subject. You know modern medicine can fix just about anything these days right? But some of these procedures or drugs are insanely expensive. If healthcare was a right we'd all live to well over 100. Well, no we wouldn't. Because we'd soon be back in the dark ages after ruining our entire civilisation with government debt.
@@ArjanHarre nah, this is the wildest shit conservatives say, imagine actually writing this comment and thinking it makes any sense
Do you not know that penicillin, a go to medicine that currently costs thousands to buy, is literal bread mold? Not all medicines are like it, but pretty damn sure penicillin costs the same to make as a McDonald’s chicken nugget
@@ArjanHarre Yeah, I don't think anyone views abortion as an desirable thing or as a "method of contraception". On the flipside there are enough conservatives in the US saying every baby should be born that they actually managed to completely outlaw abortion in several states, so there seems to be at least some validity to that claim.
As a European in a country where healthcare is pretty much a mandate, I guess it's a good thing those medieval castles are still around lmao

They do live in an alternative reality from us.
They’re against everything that’s right in front of them because they think it’s left in front of them, and we can’t have that!

I remember 10+ years ago a... documentary (?) about a pregnant man. It was about this pregnant trans man and how his family got to that point. It was very informative as one of my first exposure to trans people. So yes, we have been talking about trans individuals for decades. But the absolute vemon dripping from each word towards trans people every single time conservatives speak? Unnecessary.
They need a target for distraction. They don't stand 'for' anything, people are easily frightened and punching down is easy if they want to feel stronger. It's easier than improving the world and society.
I remember that article made me feel so differently about trans people because of how "normal" and beautiful their family was and how not normal and messed up mine was, so glad I remade myself
I REMEMBER WATCHING THAT DOCUMENTARY AND WHEN I WAS LIKE MAYBE 6 YEARS OLD. I THOUGHT I IMAGINED IT, BUT ESSENTIALLY IT MADE ME HAVE A BETTER UNDERSTANDING OF WHAT BEING TRANSGENDER WAS.
I never watched it but i remmeber seeing adds for it. Even as a young kid i was never confused by it or anything or think it was werid. I just kind of accepted it and thought it was cool. And not really giving it too much thought
Just mentioning it because well people are so worried about kids getting confused
guy, just say trans man. transman isnt a word ands it honestly kind of dehumanizing /nm
As an intersex transmasc person, I have my own take on mother's day vs father's day: I don't have human children, and I likely never will. But in terms of my cat, I'm his mom, because I fulfil the role of mom. He gets cuddles from me and we play, and if I could afford it, I would feed him. When he needed surgery, I crowdfunded to get the money. I care for him and love him.
As for father's day, there's an Old Norse holiday that takes care of this. It's for men who take pride in providing for their loved ones, and it's associated with Thor.
That is so nice!
I am also a cat parent and I see myself as her mom.
The holiday is very interesting!
Oh wow, what holiday is that Norse one!? I’m going through the comments trying to formulate my thoughts and discomfort (for myself) with Mother’s Day AND Father’s Day. I just learned there’s a Parent’s Day already, that’s awesome.
same here, am nonbinary and call myself my cat's mom, my older brother says it's stupid because i "humanize" him too much, but like...why do people care about it? at the end of the day i know he's a cat and has the needs of a cat, and it doesn't hurt anyone, so people need to just butt out on that lmao
but yeah, it sounds very sweet, be sure to give your cat son lots of pets
Oh my gods I love that! As a nonbianary person this really helped me be slightly less uncomfy with the weirdly gendered holidays. I would love to know what the holiday is so I can do more research and maybe celebrate it!!
Your comment reminded me of how my friend actually celebrates mothers day with his dad. His dad is a single father, mom left not long after my friend was born, and so his dad had to fulfill the role of mother. He even calls his dad 'Mama Bear' sometimes because he had to fulfill the role of mother, and I think that's super cute

Does he think we're going to legally force ten percent of the population to go into medicine or something?
He'd much prefer we force people to be doctors via the threat of poverty, good old capitalistic way.
@@JhericFury ... the communist alternative is fun too. You really want to be a doctor but the state says you should be a cleaner.
@@ArjanHarre Firstly, socialism/communism can exist without heirarchical power (indeed I'd say it needs to actually do what it says on the tin), capitalism can't, it's in built in the very concept.
Secondly, that example also applies in capitalism, how many people would've been great doctors but couldn't afford medical school? So they have to take low paid manual labour instead.

the point being made is that pronouns, adjectives, nouns,... are all part of grammar. So if you can change your pronouns then why can't you change everything else?
@@Coyotzz Cause I said so
@@CoyotzzBecause even neopronouns (the ones that get conservatives super pissed) follow a pattern that makes sense. You call others pronouns when referring to them to someone else. A pronoun replaces your name when you are not directly involved. Therefore, he'd never end up being directly called "hottest man alive". And if he was, then it'd need to have at least 3 separate forms (to replace I/me/myself, he/his/himself, etc.) Neopronouns follow grammatical rules, just like any other pronouns (Xie prefers to call Xieself by these pronouns, as it makes Xie mlst comfortable)
I love it when the only thing they talk abt is how ‘it’s harming the kids’. They’re literally using kids as a shield cause they’re scared themselves lmao. I've had people present this argument to me before and when pressed, they were convinced doctors simply wouldn't be paid and thus no longer had a motivation to become doctors. (As if no one could ever become a doctor because they love the field either, though....)
People are becoming doctors because they're compelled by money. I'd much prefer my doctors be compelled by wanting to care for others lmao.
(Agreeing with your point)
“If voting is a right, then you are compelling poll workers into slavery, therefore a free society cannot have democracy”
It’s the same dumb argument… unfortunately conservatives have proven quite willing to hate democracy and voting
The argument has the trappings of seeming logical, even on a second look. However, there is no difference between that and the US’s military service. It misses an important point though (which other people here already highlighted): encouraging/incentivizing already works well enough, compelling is the failure scenario here, not the primary way. It’s also completely invalidated by things like open source software. (Also socialism/communism isn’t “no markets!”, these are different things)
They're not even bothering to hide the fact that their hate is built on disgust rather than anything substantial
No one at the Daily Wire would have a career if they weren’t constantly spewing hatred of queer people
I think a lot of people look to the Daily Wire for a lot of reasons. I watch some Daily Wire for Jordan Peterson just because he talks a lot about self sufficiency
The thing that really gave me the ick was the Michael Knowles clip where he smiled like a fucking creep as he said “I’m so tired of talking about transgenderism” like I’m glad you’re getting so much joy out of advocating for the extermination of other humans
like he literally started it. he's throwing fuel on the fire, he's one of the most prominent transphobes out there and he wants to say "kinda bored of talking about this you guys, why's everyone making such a big deal out of it?" THEN STOP TALKING ABOUT IT! PLEASE!
Yeahhh his smile looked borderline psychopathic

Ima have to disagree with you on the Father's Day topic, I am a transman and i really like Father's Day because I gave birth. But i hate when people give me mother's day presents. It sucks, its dysphoric as hell.
While I agree that Mother's Day is important, i also think that Father's Day is important for some people. And i celebrate my wife on mother's day, she is mom.
i fully agree. even if father's day had started bc cishet men hated not having attention (which it didn't, and it wasn't even a man who started the whole thing), it has become important bc dad's do have specific issues, especially when they aren't white, cis and straight. i dont agree with only keeping mother's day, there's really no harm in having a father's day and a parent's day (apparently it does exist just not popular at all)
Michael Knowles declaring how sick he is of talking about trans people is probably the least self-aware thing I've ever heard.
I bet that one day he'll say something along the lines of "trans people stole my movie career."
Also his blaming a county's economic woes is very... 'not without precedent' 👀
“I’m not here to talk about trans people today”… proceeds to talk about trans people
The eyeshadow lipstick combo is so cute
I find it interesting that a fair amount of people don't know that men can, in fact, lactate under the right conditions. The same can be said for women who have never been pregnant but as soon as someone points it out to them, they scream "fake news" and get all upset.
Ok so Father’s Day is actually credited to a woman, Sonora Smart Dodd in 1910. The first celebration was in 1908 to honor the fathers who died in the worst mining incident in US history, helped along by Grace Golden Clayton (Farmer’s almanac). However, Nixon is the one who made it official in 1972 (Britannica).

I get that there's a historical meaning to mother's day, but as a transgender parent who doesn't identify with either mother or father, I would love for there to be a known day when people like me are celebrated and seen. The way it is now, I feel invisible sometimes.
A friend of mine did wish me a happy parents' day on mothers day though, and I really appreciated that 😊
(There is a world parents' day btw but it's not very well known)
Edit: I do agree that mothers day itself shouldnt be replaced by something else! I'd rather make world parents' day more commonly known and celebrated
My mother always told me that Mothers' day was just made up to sell greetings cards, so I've never celebrated either Mothers' or Fathers' day (outside of the craft related stuff primary school made us do). Also, Parents' day is the 4th Sunday in July.
Transformers Earthspark is such a cute show, and Nightshade (the non-binary Transformer from the clip) is one of my favorite characters. The show also manages to tackle other interesting and tricky subjects such as teaching the next generation the consequences of war and showing that new generation of Transformers experiencing a lot of the struggles and prejudices that the children of immigrants often experience. There's also a lot of influence from the IDW comics, which has a ton of overt LGBT characters since it's written for an older age bracket. If you ever find the time, I highly recommend reading IDW's More Than Meets The Eye and Lost Light. I feel like you may like it!
I'm nonbinary and I've been a fan of Transformers since I was a kid, and that scene was the sweetest thing I've ever seen.
TF Earthspark is actually so adorable with Nightshade. From the moment they first get addressed and Optimus accepting them without a second thought to that amazing interaction where they find out about being 'non-binary' - it's incredible
Oh right, the "basic biology" group being ignorant of the presence of milk ducts in most humans regardless of sex and gender. Shocking.
Honestly the whole pro life argument kinda falls apart once you ask them why won't they fix the health care issue then? Why won't they support people in povetry or horrible living situation? They stop caring once the baby is out, this isn't about pro or anti life, this is about controlling others bodies and being againts abortions rather than about protecting a life of an unborn child
Mother's day i really regretfully celebrated for a while because culturally it has been "thank you biolohical mother for everything" when most of what i got from her was trauma. When I was a teen I would half-ass it enough to appease my mom, who nearly disowned me for having seizures, but i would celebrate my dad on mother's day, because he was more of a monther to me than any adult in my family. My dad is cis and straight but he still apreciated it, as he actually took over 75% of all "motherly" roles. Now that I'm an adult, I would prefer to add a neutral gendered "parent/guardian figure who actually took good care of me" day. We should cwlebrate good parents and guardians, reguardless of gender, and reclaim the meaning of mothers' day as being for all women who are good parents or who actually tried to be good parents. Same with fathers' day but for men who really did their best and tried their best to be a good parent. Because these holidays have been butchered into just anyone who has a child reguardless of if they neglect and abuse and manipulate and mistreat their child.
"It can't be the government!"- yeah, imagine the government caring for its citizens, that's not its responsibility at all! a government founded healthcare system is a totally insane idea, there isnt a single country in the world where that works.

"People can't afford eggs bc Trans people exist" is not something I thought I would hear today lmao
Your videos literally make me so happy omg
Holy heck that transformers clip makes me so happy as an NB and I agree. Safety is often in queer groups. Also Monster High Gen 4 Frankie just saying “hey they/them” and it just being respected made me so happy as an adult who loved MH as a kid. That’s so sweet. I cry lol
There actually is a parents day (4th sunday of July, I think) at least in the US, it's just not popular/well known. I think it's best to make parents day more popular, and keep mother's day (for all mothers, cis or trans) as well. Father's day can stay too, because it already exists and it's probably not going anywhere, and it can be used to emphasize fathers (cis or trans) who actually aren't shitty (esp. feminist fathers who don't teach their kids toxic masculinity/the holiday can be about healthy masculinity). This means parents day will be for everyone, but can center nonbinary and queer parents more, I'd hope
I get the importance of mothers day but I don't think having the other holidays necessarily has to take away from it? I think if there weren't a father's day, it should just be mother's day. But it's like... already there. And I think celebrating parents of all genders is a good idea. So all three seems like the best option
But I think a basic thing about the culture around these days (and around parents in general) needs to change: it should be about appreciating GOOD parents. As someone who's been through abuse, it's really tiring, the way society acts as if every parent is good and their children owe them everything. And abusive parents are this far off category of boogymen or some shit. Parents days should be about celebrating healthy parenting, not about forcing children to be grateful. It should not be about "You *have* to appreciate your parents because they created/raised you". Parents days shouldn't be about appreciating them for the bare minimum (which some of them don't even offer), it should be about the good they actually do. Appreciate parents who actually put the care in to deserve it, because those ones absolutely deserve appreciation and recognition

What I dislike about these conservative videos is that they never let other people speak. They always talk over them. And make statements that they know are not true to make their opponent look bad. Are they afraid that if they let the other person finish their sentence or properly make their argument they'll be proven wrong?
Just wanted people to know that there is a day just for parents it the fourth Sunday in July for the non gender conforming people or really anyone. I believe it's good to have parents day, mothers day, and fathers day and not just one day because every family is different ❤.
Yes, Mother's Day was created to celebrate women, and yes Father's Day was created in opposition to Mother's Day, but I will take a fourth stance on the matter: Parents' Day does exist already as a holiday and in the US, it's celebrated on the fourth Sunday of July.

and doctors arent compelled to become doctors. they legit chose it lmao
Devils advocate; having fathers day is ultimately a good thing because there are people who are raised by good single dads. Those kids do exist and deserve to be validated just like everyone else.
I disagree with you about the mother's day one. Both parents (talking about the good ones) do put in the work and make sacrifices for their child/children so they both deserve a special day. Also I think both mothers and fathers day are over-capitalized to the point they don't mean much anymore.
Having grown up without a dad I can definitely tell that no, Father’s Day isn’t every day
I have to disagree with your stance on fathers day. I think its a very fair and legitimate holiday i mean fathers are just as important as mothers. My father left me when i was younger and personally i hate the holiday myself but to say that its invalid just isnt fair to the countless fathers who stayed with there children and love there children.

18:14 that’s so cute. What movie/show/short is that from?
4:39 I was wondering when Gobbles would make an appearance.
Well ya, mammals can make milk as long as they have decently developed mammary glands, what's wrong with that? I guess their problem is that now they can't use "you aren't a real woman because you can lactate" and now they fear that medicine is developing closer to developing an artificial womb for trans women to have the pregnancy and birthing experience too.
The people with this mindset just say the SAME exact thing over and over, all of them. It's like they just hear a phrase and repeat it indefinitely. No research, no opinion, no original thoughts just reciting lines and passing that shit down through generations
Naomi's pure joy is always an absolute w
My mom didn't fully realize she was non binary until later in life, after she'd come to terms with who she was. So she started using the label but didn't change her pronouns or what we all called her. She'd changed her name years before to something more comfortable and she's fully understanding of my wanting to use different pronouns even if she doesn't. She even got me a pin with my pronouns on it!
All this to say: there's many kinds of non-binary people and I got really lucky with the parental unit lottery. (My pronouns are they/them I'm gender fluid)
We do have a rather fucked up healthcare system in the States, but that’s why it’s best to strive to take care of oneself first.
I have a background in yoga, massage therapy, and reiki.
What these guys and other transphobes don’t understand is the human body contains both masculine and feminine energies. We all have it. It just depends on which one we align with. Which one we choose to focus on and/or express.
And it’s easy to tell how much they need to contact their own feminine energy because they have become so incredibly toxic. The divine feminine is a wonderful thing and the human body is in a sense hermaphroditic.
We have both energies inside us, and look at how the human body is able to change depending on proper hormone therapy or reassignment surgery. These things are clearly possible. And regardless of the male/female energy part of it, we are so much more than that too and it’s sad to see this hatred hold everyone back.
In Columbus OH a few months ago, a group of people threatened to shoot up a library full of kids because of a drag reading. There was also the club Q incident that happened literally on trans visibility, and the fact that trans people are disproportionately assaulted in every possibly way. That's just physical abuse, that doesn't even mention verbal, emotional, or financial abuse. Denying that violence against trans people is affected by our words is truly blissful ignorance, or a call on a strategic attack.
Hello I love your videos!! Keep up the good work!! ❤️You always talk about relatable things and never fail to make me laugh or agree with your statements. Please are so ridiculous also 😂 anyway I hope you're having a good day!! Bye bye, love you and your content!! ❤❤❤❤
The guys response to that tescher irritates the hell out of me. I grew up in the Austin area (a fairly accepting place, but its in the middle of Texas, a very not accepting place) and I wish my teachers stopped kids from saying hurtful things. I'm Jewish and the amount of time people h@!l h!+ler-ed me at school was appalling. I had an entire parade thrown against me just for saying I thought all religions were valid. If I'd been out as a genderqueer person at that point I genuinely don't know if I'd be al!ve now, I was b^ll!ed enough for being weird and Jewish
I’m not vocal on how sick i am of hearing about straight culture. It’s normal…no it’s forced and the only thing pushed on me.
I’m probably too late to comment, but I think we should start saying “do you understand that men can get pregnant?” instead of “do you believe men can get pregnant?”. Because it’s not a matter of opinion or belief, it’s biology. Trans men and nonbinary people are not boogeymen who may or may not exist, it’s a fact that they do
The question is Should Access to Healthcare be a Right? And he answered should 'life' be a right. He was wrong on so many levels.
Oh, I didn't know about the origin of mothers and fathers day :o Thank you for informing!
Why do they compare gender identity to problems of economy? They’re two unrelated things…
Just because you disagree with someone doesn’t mean they cause every problem- besides the ones you invented yourself…
I took a bioethics class, and the very first unit was about abortion ethics. In that class we covered a lot of statistics, but the statistic that majority of the people who get abortions are married women with at least one child was very interesting... especially because while it was mostly referring to women of any faith, married women of Christian/Catholic faith with at least one child were the people getting most abortions out of all demographics.
The same people that are appalled from a breastfeeding trans woman would be SCREAMING, if a child would only be fed through cup.
To the person asking which day they celebrate in regards of mothers and father's day, thats when i say celebrate both. 🍾
5:51 OF COURSE IM SICK OF THIS I JUST WANNA BE ME UGH
I refuse to celebrate Mother's/Father's Day because I think it's just a consumerism scam. I celebrate my parents every/any day I want. BUT when I was in low primary school we made cards for those days and we were encouraged to address it to a woman/man in our lives that we feel is important and I really liked that. This was 20 years ago, so don't shout about "woke" schools, people have always not had some parents.
the "fun" part of this is that in all the videos with other people they got an incredible clear response and just ignored and repeated the same thing.
Like if you are a musician and play a Mozart song and someone on the audience just say its a Taylor Swift song even tho they have no experience in music.
17:26 honestly I thought this was so cute, just leave it to the conservatives to find issues with literally everyone..
Knowles face is a portrait from the uncanny valley
"No wonder people can't afford eggs"
I'm still not sure this is a real man. Has anyone seen him drink water? Eat? Sleep? Does he plug in?
I went to uni for 8 years in the medical field, built up insurmountable debt, 3-5 years speciality training, and 1-3 years of fellowship training to become a medical doctor. Man, I'm a doctor that doesnt want to be a doctor.
The people offended by trans women breast feeding will be the same who shame cis women for not (being able to ) breastfeed because they have too little milk. But this would be the solution since it would enable fathers to breastfeed, too. It would take the stress of the mother. It literally only has benefits, tf
according to QI, mother’s day was actually a day to go to (and support, probably financially) your ‘mother church’
So glad you brought up and explained the importance of Mother’s Day vs Father’s Day being a consumer holiday! However, the woman in the video you were responding to didn’t ask to take Mother’s Day away, she just said she wished there was another separate day for parents who aren’t mothers or fathers. Also, suggesting a holiday be called “marginalized parents day” just feels more ostracizing in my opinion.
Said with all support and love just trying to offer another perspective 💕
agree with this, also a parent's day does exist and i don't agree that we should get rid of father's and parent's day and only keep mother's day. they're all important to a lot of people and that's valid
31:26 I was trying to find more info on the topic of Father’s Day and I couldn’t find anything, is there anyway you can give me a link to one u have found? - thanks so much
Hi law school student here, 4:44 I want to be a lawyer because I want to write laws and policies to improve people’s lives. To help people when they need legal assistance or advice. What breaks my heart is the idea that someone won’t be able to pay me to do that. I don’t want to force anyone’s parents to pay me equivalent to their months rent just because they got wrongfully sued. This world isn’t a perfect system I don’t want ppl to struggle to pay me ontop of their other expenses I’d much rather be paid in food or items then that ppl can afford to give me.
I understand what you’re saying about Father’s Day, but it feels a little invalidating to people who really need that. Some people have very complicated family situations, and for me it’s very complicated when it comes to dads. Father’s Day is really really important to me. I’m not trying to attack or devalue your argument, I just sort of want to clarify that.
GOOD NEWS EVERYONE! There is a national parents day and it July 23
Wow, I know trans people are powerful, but according to this politician trans people are super heros that can solve the world's worst problems. Let's elect them all! 🤯
I think many people need to go back to primary school, like i learned about when i was like 6 back in 2005 and i'm not even a native english speaker
Kids, beware of nonbinary people. Back when I was still living my cis life in blissful ignorance, I followed one of my friends into an alley and we bumped into one of the enbies that used to creep around our town. We were absolutely terrified by that evil purple and yellow light they shone onto us. They leaned in close and put a few pronouns into our hands. I looked down at the pronoun I'd gotten and it said "they/them". I looked at my friend who looked just as terrified as I was feeling in that moment. Suddenly we heard a loud bang and the enby was gone. We looked over at where the enby had stood, where only their trenchcoat lay on the ground. We spun around only to see three raccoons vanish around the corner. The next day I got a letter in my mailbox. It had a sigil of a bee striped with black, yellow, white, and purple. What it said still haunts me to this day. "NB stands for Numerous Bees"
I was never cis again 😔
Crazy the people who say “protect the kids, save the kids” get mad when trans women are trying to raise children, like chill do you say the same thing about your cis wife? I mean probs cuz apparently they think bodily functions are weird
Hi from Sweden, really appreciate your content
In terms of abstinence… only about 20% of people under 35 actually stay committed to abstinence until marriage, so it’s not like it’s “just that simple”.
Before getting on me for stating this: PlannedParenthood, Institute for Family Studies and one other source I forgot the name of… all said the same thing and reported very similar results. While the percentages have increased over the last 10 years, it’s still not a very large number of people.
Personally with the mother's day father's day part, why not have both but also have parents day. That way everyone is happy and nobody feels left out
