Quite delightful to watch. Sometimes he just nudges the ball and tosses it into a lob. At other times his wrist on the forehand also has a catapult movement
That 'yes let' decision at 1:29 by both the referees is just deplorable, if Hesham had swung at the ball he would have hit Gawad for God's sake, those refs have not played the game at all, they don't understand this it seems and that's bad for the players. These two boys are class acts and it's great to see them play each other from time to time now with the recent resurgence of Gawad, what a magic player he is.
The Awkard movement was caused by Mazen not getting to front right cross court to the back soon enough to make to internded straight drive back to the nail and reset his two wall inverse boast, but it wasnt staraight due to late arrival hit side wall gave Gawad the only option to apply Ali pressure but if Hesham was at tee like we are trained to hit shots to give us time to get back back so we can go forward or back then we can aa making rallies flow for us to watch and players learn to under the pump and tiredish to do wht was played out ie No Let Wht do reacon Squashies noticed in next rally he was always adjusent to Gawad on tee and moved easier around Gawad who played shots as ball came to him close by tee and servebox lines
Hesham moved to far to the front, maby 15 cm. if he waited en and chose to go to the left. Gawad could clear. Now he kind off searched for the 'let', good that this is not rewarded. (probablby Hesham new, he was scratching his head, that is body language for making a mistake/lie)
@@jelmerth Gawad over ran his stride. He put himself in that position. It was his mistake and therefore Hesham should be rewarded for forcing the mistake.
Looks to me from the front court camera that, looking at where the second bounce of that ball is, Gawad isn't actually in the way of a direct line to that ball. If you freeze frame between 1:04 and 1:05, you can see that Hesham misjudges how deep the ball will bounce and takes an indirect line into Gawad. The second bounce is under the "E" of NETSUITE, well in front of Gawad and in front of the line Hesham took. Good call by the ref and video ref. Bad call by PJ.
Two gentlemen played high level of professional squash. Watched with joy!
What a treat. Two of the most talented ambassadors to the sport.
Hesham's back hand strike has a strange but exciting double swing. What an exquisite pair of players doing their magic

So exciting to emulate but so difficult@@ghawatzhusten3368
What a geat game to watch!!! Thank you for posting this!
Love to see Hesham at 8:05 diving to help Gawad up! Could you see Asal in that situation....
No need to mention that name which just brings bad reputation to squash.
Outstanding level of enternainment!!!
Top quality work to the back of the court.
Amazing stuff indeed...like chess on ice...scandalous! What a joy to behold.
I smell TECHNO Lights for the next tournament

At 14:00 how was that not a stroke to Hesham?
Not able to understand just let at 1mn, can somebody explain why not stroke?
Same here
Definite stroke. Not even a debate.

falcon punch (Captain Falcon who is a nintendo character)
Wonderful squash but a disgraceful call by the ref on the stroke
This feel sped up
Hasham is very skillfull but mentally very weak ..
He need to work on his temperament…
GAWAD excelled in psychology warfare …
How is waiting for ages for a decision a highlight ? ?
This isn't highlights. It's a full game as it happened.
