So here's a story: I've been in love/had a crush on this guy for 5 years now. And when I heard this song I immediately thought of him and thought I should send this to him. By night we had to perform something for the bonfire, while my group was talking about what song to sing (they immediately thought of singing because I brought my guitar with me) I was jamming at the side and at one point I started singing this song and he was next to me, I saw in my peripheral vision my friend nudging him which immediately made me stop and act like I was helping the group think of a song. Flash forward to Aug 2019, I'm still in love with him and he confessed to me. He asked if I could be his girlfriend. His words: "I know I didn't accept your feelings back then, but looking back now it was a huge mistake. But can you give me a chance?" We've been dating for 3 months now and I still love him so much.
How have things been going? I just want to see if things really do turn out alright in the end because I'm not feeling great right now. Also sorry if it didn't work out and I'm being a wanker

This is a very weird thing that I found this out last night, but if you click on the settings (hd) button (the gear button on the right side) and click speed, you can change the speed to 0.5 and it actually sounds and has the feeling of the slow version of my face, there are obviously a bit of wonky sounding parts since its so fast and changed to slow, but its kind of cool to listen to! :)
I just read the whole thread of comments by this one person giving updates about their relationship. It was so beautiful with dodie singing in the background. The feeling of summer and fresh air. I've always found it to be weird, people commenting about wanting things in life in some obscure corner of the comment sections on the internet but in this moment i truly i hope i get to look back at this comment and feel hopeful someday in the future. Or maybe just be happier.

I don’t know who to tell this and I feel like this is a safe space for me. I’ve liked this girl for two years. I first met her when I move to a different country and we are in the same class. She’s the first person that stood up to me when I walked in the class , I remember thinking that she was so cool when I first saw her. The first year we didn’t talk at all but I would always catch her looking at me and then we would just smile at each other. Last year I try to sit beside her in class and talk more with her but it was kinda hard because I didn’t speak the language that well but we still made it work ! We’ve talked only for a few time last year but I would get butterflies every time! This year has been really hard for me, my parents are homophobic and with the virus I’ve been stuck at home with them to much. Plus my self love started to go down and I hate that because I’ve worked hard to be where I am but she has helped me a lot. I can’t even stay sad when I see her , her smile brightens up my day. This school year we’ve started to talk more.Two or three month ago we took a trip with my class in a wood and after that her and I went to drink something and we ended up talking about how much both of us love skateboarding but we don’t have friends that want to go skateboarding with us so I gathered all of my courage and asked her if she wants to skate together. She was so excited when I asked her that question and she said yes. So a week later we went skateboarding and let me tell you how AMAZING that went. First we went to walked to a mall and got ice cream and sent on a bench and ate it and after we went to this parking lot to skate. At one point I got tired so we sat down and started talking about everything her ex , our families, school ,life and many more things. I was so happy that day. On our way home she was riding the skateboard and o was walking so I grabbed her hand( I asked her first if I could do it) and I pulled her with me. I was feeling like in a movie. A week later we had to do a project together so we went to a park and sat down on a bench. There was a small water beside us and a lot of ducks hehe. We sat there talking until the sun went down and we catchend this beautiful sunset so I took a picture of it and her silhouette could be seen in the picture which look super cool so I asked her if i can take a picture of her and she said sure. After it was getting pretty dark outside so we decided that we should head home . She took me to my tram and waited with me until the tram came and after she hugged me and left which was very sweet 🥺 So I have a really small group friend (4 persons) so on Halloween we decided to watch horror movies together and me knowing my crush loves horror movies I invited her too. Again she was very exited when I asked. So the horror night passed and it was great but nothing to special happened expect us staying up until 6am chatting. And since then we’ve started meeting every Saturday :D . Two weeks ago we were at my place having a sleepover and we were playing cards , the loser had to do a truth or a dare. My friends being the little devils they are asked both of us if we have a crush on somebody and I said yes obviously and my crush said “kinda”. So later that night when we went to sleep she slept in my room . We were in my bed looking at each other and smiling and I swear I could feel something between us like sparkles . We were talking and I was like “sooo you have a crush huh 😼” she said mhm idk cuz it takes her a while to figure that out. And I asked if her crush lives here(in our city) she said yes and asked me the same question so I also said yes. And the thing is she recently cut contact with all of her “friends” so me and my friends are the only people she talks to WHICH MEANS THERES A SMALL CHANCE SHE LIKES ME BACK. after the skateboarding “date” I was thinking of confessing and get it off my chest but I always rush into things and get myself hurt so I decided to take it slow with her plus I don’t want to tush her into anything either. I just want us to fall in love slowly, I’ve already liked her for 2 years And we stated to get really close so I don’t want to ruin everything now. This is a very long story and it’s not that romantic but i really wanted to talk about this cuz after 2 years I’m finally happy again:D

Well first thank you all so much for the kind words! I really appreciate it. Here’s an update... it’s not exactly going how I wished to but it’s ok. So everything was going great until December when our school was closed again because of lockdown and we didn’t see each other for a month. She’s one of my best friends and we decided to do secret Santa and I actually got her! I bought all her favorite things and she’s obsessed with stickers and pins so I got her that , she’s been wearing the pins every day and that made me happy. Uhm after New Year’s Eve I kinda got myself stucked in a toxic relationship and I kinda stopped talking with my best friends until March when we started hanging out again. two weeks ago I actually confessed and I told her what’s been going on and she actually liked me too haha but uhm she’s also not ready to be in a relationship so now we’re just best friends. I’m happy that we’re still hanging out and it’s not awkward. So yeah I think this is a case of right person wrong time, maybe one day will get to actually be together because I was truly in love with her and I think I still am. This is a very weird thing that I found this out last night, but if you click on the settings (hd) button (the gear button on the right side) and click speed, you can change the speed to 0.5 and it actually sounds and has the feeling of the slow version of my face, there are obviously a bit of wonky sounding parts since its so fast and changed to slow, but its kind of cool to listen to! :)

I just read the whole thread of comments by this one person giving updates about their relationship. It was so beautiful with dodie singing in the background. The feeling of summer and fresh air. I don’t know who to tell this and I feel like this is a safe space for me.
I’ve liked this girl for two years. I first met her when I move to a different country and we are in the same class. She’s the first person that stood up to me when I walked in the class , I remember thinking that she was so cool when I first saw her. The first year we didn’t talk at all but I would always catch her looking at me and then we would just smile at each other. Last year I try to sit beside her in class and talk more with her but it was kinda hard because I didn’t speak the language that well but we still made it work ! We’ve talked only for a few time last year but I would get butterflies every time! This year has been really hard for me, my parents are homophobic and with the virus I’ve been stuck at home with them to much. Plus my self love started to go down and I hate that because I’ve worked hard to be where I am but she has helped me a lot. I can’t even stay sad when I see her , her smile brightens up my day. This school year we’ve started to talk more.Two or three month ago we took a trip with my class in a wood and after that her and I went to drink something and we ended up talking about how much both of us love skateboarding but we don’t have friends that want to go skateboarding with us so I gathered all of my courage and asked her if she wants to skate together. She was so excited when I asked her that question and she said yes. So a week later we went skateboarding and let me tell you how AMAZING that went. First we went to walked to a mall and got ice cream and sent on a bench and ate it and after we went to this parking lot to skate. At one point I got tired so we sat down and started talking about everything her ex , our families, school ,life and many more things. I was so happy that day. On our way home she was riding the skateboard and o was walking so I grabbed her hand( I asked her first if I could do it) and I pulled her with me. I was feeling like in a movie. A week later we had to do a project together so we went to a park and sat down on a bench. There was a small water beside us and a lot of ducks hehe. We sat there talking until the sun went down and we catchend this beautiful sunset so I took a picture of it and her silhouette could be seen in the picture which look super cool so I asked her if i can take a picture of her and she said sure. After it was getting pretty dark outside so we decided that we should head home . She took me to my tram and waited with me until the tram came and after she hugged me and left which was very sweet 🥺
So I have a really small group friend (4 persons) so on Halloween we decided to watch horror movies together and me knowing my crush loves horror movies I invited her too. Again she was very exited when I asked. So the horror night passed and it was great but nothing to special happened expect us staying up until 6am chatting. And since then we’ve started meeting every Saturday :D . Two weeks ago we were at my place having a sleepover and we were playing cards , the loser had to do a truth or a dare. My friends being the little devils they are asked both of us if we have a crush on somebody and I said yes obviously and my crush said “kinda”. So later that night when we went to sleep she slept in my room . We were in my bed looking at each other and smiling and I swear I could feel something between us like sparkles . We were talking and I was like “sooo you have a crush huh 😼” she said mhm idk cuz it takes her a while to figure that out. And I asked if her crush lives here(in our city) she said yes and asked me the same question so I also said yes. And the thing is she recently cut contact with all of her “friends” so me and my friends are the only people she talks to WHICH MEANS THERES A SMALL CHANCE SHE LIKES ME BACK. after the skateboarding “date” I was thinking of confessing and get it off my chest but I always rush into things and get myself hurt so I decided to take it slow with her plus I don’t want to tush her into anything either. I just want us to fall in love slowly, I’ve already liked her for 2 years And we stated to get really close so I don’t want to ruin everything now.
This is a very long story and it’s not that romantic but i really wanted to talk about this cuz after 2 years I’m finally happy again:D

Well first thank you all so much for the kind words! I really appreciate it. Here’s an update... it’s not exactly going how I wished to but it’s ok. So everything was going great until December when our school was closed again because of lockdown and we didn’t see each other for a month. She’s one of my best friends and we decided to do secret Santa and I actually got her! I bought all her favorite things and she’s obsessed with stickers and pins so I got her that , she’s been wearing the pins every day and that made me happy. Uhm after New Year’s Eve I kinda got myself stucked in a toxic relationship and I kinda stopped talking with my best friends until March when we started hanging out again. two weeks ago I actually confessed and I told her what’s been going on and she actually liked me too haha but uhm she’s also not ready to be in a relationship so now we’re just best friends. I’m happy that we’re still hanging out and it’s not awkward. So yeah I think this is a case of right person wrong time, maybe one day will get to actually be together because I was truly in love with her and I think I still am. I don’t think it’s the story everybody hoped for and I really regret everything and not confessing sooner. Thank you for listening to my story! I hope everybody is doing great !
