AT&SF 3751 at LA Union Station 9/10/23

Great day for railroading! Today we leave the Land of Magic for a brief venture into old Los Angeles to Platform 15 where the majestic Northern-type 3751 of the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway was simmering for foamers and railman's alike to observe and appreciate. We start with a view in the cab with the bell and wonderful chime whistle sounding off, then we see the engine simmering in the sun with some bell clanging in action.

@@WaltsNephew I definitely must try. I bet it'll be retired again eventually, probably sooner than we think. This time it'll be permanent

I heard they are working on getting PTC on 3751, so once that happens, hopefully it does excursion trips again.

Well, both this engine and the 2926 seem to be just running in and out of displays lately, guess it will take some time until they doublehead
