Goosebumps at 14:29, one of may all time favorite Phish moments. I come back a couple times a year to watch this, it's really the only video that truly captures how we all felt that night in VA.
The emphasis on the "Wooooah YEAHHHHH" was so profound. I was about 15 feet from the stage, my first trip to the east coast. 3-day pass from PTBM lottery. One of the top 10 moments of my life, captured here. I was with a dear friend, he died last year. I am sobbing. Thank you.
the single greatest concert moment of my life. still gives me chills to this day. my friend and I knocked his gf over jumping for joy at the first notes of fluffhead, too excited to pick her up while hugging and jumping for joy. phish is the greatest...SO GRATEFUL to still have them playing for us 15 years after this moment. We are blessed
This is the quintessential jam band bust-out, and the "OH!!" at 1:48 (along with the rest of the crowd's reaction) is the perfect encapsulation of what it feels like when a bust-out happens (Edit, a few months later) I hate to reduce this moment just to a "Bust Out". This is one of the greatest moments in the history of live music and the history of rock and roll. And I'm not even really a Phish fan and I've never seen them play live)
Coming from a very well educated phan specifically referring to the bands history. It’s great hearing from a non phan understanding and comprehend the level of importance in this video and the concert as a whole. Try to catch a show sometime!they’re still touring strong!!!
I wasn’t even into Phish at this time even with my sister trying hard. Years later, I finally came over to Phamily. Watching this made me cry. Simply because I now know how bad the break up would have been and was for all of you. The emotions pouring through this video are intense. I can only imagine how intense it was in person! 🖤⭕️
Holy chill bumps. Seeing the boys at the Hampton has been on the top of my venue list for a while now.. got to make the trip from Colorado next time they visit
Whoaaaaaa. No band has ever, or will ever get an opening reaction like that. Whew! So amazing. Also, now I see why the venue is referred to as "Mothership" thank you for posting this.

Holy smokes 4:40, absolute mayhem typing with tears in my eyes. Thank god Trey got sober.
God I love this band.

Bring a tear to a glass eyeball...thanks for the capture bro 😎 👍❤️🐟
The band does not need to sing with that crowd participation. Waves of energy! Thanks for sharing a beautiful moment in Phishstory.

I literally just got tears in my eyes re-living this moment through your video. Nice job man, this was the best day of my life
Awesome! This is the first recording I've encountered that has come close to doing that moment justice. Well done.
Rich Waters and that moment NEEDED to be documented.
Thanks for filming and sharing - I was immediately to your left... pressed up against the rail - man it was packed back there!

These kids act as though they've never heard 'Fluffhead'. WTF!
It was their first show back since the breakup in 04’
@John-xe5kr
I'm very well aware of that and perhaps they never have heard a live 'Fluffhead'.
