Hi Jackie, I have Rouge Saray. In 2024 for some reason, I was craving scents with a “date note”. I went to Lush and purchased a body mist and a lotion called “Sticky Dates”. I paired it with Rouge Saray and the compliments kept coming. Rouge Saray and Lush Sticky Dates is a match worth you getting a sniff of. I also pair Sticky Dates with other fragrances that have a “date” note such as Khamrah, Dates Delight, Une Nuit Nomade Jardins de Misfah (the OG & the extrait) and Chloe Nomade Jasmin Naturelle Intense. Please try this combo before you decide to declutter Rouge Saray.
Jackie, unfortunatelly it is not available anymore in Brazil, but try to find in the US the frag Figuier et Rose from L'Occitane en Provence. It's the BEST lactonic sweet fig frangrance ever!! ❤
We must be nose twins because i too LOVE lemon scents 🍋 and don't like balsam fragrance very much and HATE balsamic vinaigrette too. Balsam can smell like pine needles but often on my skin it smells like a combo of vinegar/pickles which reminds me of balsamic vinaigrette dressing. Scent is subjective and involves many factors. There are no right or wrong scent interpretations.

I have Satin Vanilla by Birkholtz and really enjoy it. There is some note on the dry down that I am not too excited about. I will wait a little while and come back to it. It’s an almondy or nutty scent that I don’t like. So we shall see. Really nice bottle though.

They’d all been on my wishlist for a while, and they are beautiful. I’m so excited to wear them! I also just recently ordered tumi’s new fragrances, signature and utopia. They were my two favorites from the four new releases.
Great video! I haven't tried any of the fragrances you've mentioned, but some of them sound amazing. The first fragrance I added in 2025 was Black Tulip by Shay & Blue London and it'a a spicy and sweet plum, I love it
Hi Jackie. I actually am going through Atelier des Ors samples at the moment. Rouge Saray was a little underwhelming for me too. Lune Féline is quite nice, and so is Pink Me Up. I need to do full wears, though. Loved the opening of Rose Omeryade, but it was so short lived.
My first haul: Lemon Tart, Almaz & Dahab by Kajal, and Joal by Coquillete. I have been craving chocolate lately, but Joal is a blind buy. I hope it is a good one. I also bought a travel size of Café Chantant, because both you and Chris rave about it. And indeed, it is so beautiful! It reminds me of Cuir Beluga, but compared to CC I find CB a bit boring now.

Just bought another lemon vanilla fragrance also its from the house liis and its called choux choux. It came out in 2024 and it has that lemon zest and whipped cream opening with the vanilla but added notes of carmel and cacao and a hint of mocha.but basically that scent vibe and I love it!I know you have enough of this profile but worth sampling.😊❤
Bake is a new found favorite. I purchased it in November & already have a nice dent in it. Sometimes I add a bit of Mancera’s amore cafe & I’m in heaven for a few hours. 😁

Another fun fact is that Rouge Saray smells like pure sweet dates with just a balsamic touch. For 2025 I am waiting for Nomade Lumineuse d'Egypt. And Valaya exclusif.
I agree about Rouge Saray ! I really thought I would like it, but glad I got sample first and it’s a no for me. Plan this year to be more mindful with purchasing and my designated area is running out of the space, but I ordered two perfumes that are in the way Indolence edt and Musk Therapy. Can’t wait!

I sampled many Kalotinis -Cherry powder, Almond tart, Creme bourle and a few more.- never liked any of them. Then, I put my nose on his pear gelato-which is not really liked by most people-and love at first sniff, bought a full bottle. Maybe the only one I ever will like from the house....
To my nose Rouge Saray smells like Captain Black Pipe Tobacco my dad used to smoke when I was a child I love the smell but I find it very manly! I gave my bottle to my husband 😅
Just bought Gourmand power…. Sounds right up my alley. And for 65$ you can’t go wrong. I am so tired of perfumes being 200$ + for 50ml… it is getting ridiculous😢
I did purchase the lemon tart and gourmand power since I already have the Arko Bake. I already have velvety chocolate, almond tart, cinnamon rolls, crème brûlée and pistachio and I love this house!

I am with you. I love, love, LOVE Rouge Saray (I adore cinnamon in fragrance) and would repurchase despite the steep price tag.

It’s all so subjective. Some people absolutely love RS and I wish I did. But it just doesn’t work for me.
Funny that a lot of people say bake doesn’t last. On me it lasts 6+ hours and I can smell the lemon through the whole wear. Love your haul ❤
