The program used here was Demul. I would currently recommend Flycast dojo for playing this online, although I haven't tried this particular game with that emulator.

I can't really say when I could do that one. Part of the problem is the game appears to be fairly long (more of a problem when it comes to 2p) and PSX games are not my favorite because they're just more trouble to record. That doesn't mean I won't do it, but I just can't say it will be very soon. I was going to try recording Gekido sometime fairly soon, so I'll see how that works out. There are also two PSX games I played a while back but haven't yet made videos of.

Ranger Mission was also very similar to Konami's very obscure Warzaid, also known as World Combat, and its equally obscure sequel, Wartran Troopers.

The "bonus stage" is just a free game. It was the same thing as the last stage I played. This video ends at the start of another bonus stage too.
