      Quick share can be as fast as airdrop in the old versions the default was Bluetooth and you had to remember to switch but now it is WiFi Direct just like Air Drop
      RCS is actually now more feature rich than iMessage and is default on Android and we can even read iMessage Features on Android Apple refuse to allow full RCS onto iOS

      When I used to have the iPhone XS, I would switch out my SIM card to my Note 20 Ultra and text my brother from it. I would wait for his response, then switch my SIM card to my iPhone and reply on there. He is one of those blue bubble only fans and yes he got super mad. 😂😂

    The only reason iPhone has such a big foothold is because of imessage/facetime.

    • @theeALister
      @theeALister Year ago +18

      That’s not the only reason. Their ecosystem and main products (iPhone, Watch, AirPods) have been around longer and have a more proven track record than Samsung galaxy devices and most other competitors. At the end of the day, the vast majority of users value reliability over features.

    • @pronetodancing24
      @pronetodancing24 Year ago +1

      @theeALister Samsung has a reliable ecosystem. Only the watches are better with Apple, but Samsung has an integrated ecosystem that's open to Windows devices and Apple devices as well. They have a My Galaxy devices section for integration, built-in interpreter that works with the AI and auto-translating earbuds, multi-screen use with tablets & galaxy books & and phones with Dex, etc.

      I’ve been saying that a lot lately.

    • @Calebflying2025
      @Calebflying2025 11 months ago

      Apple is also a head in many ways. I have had both Android and Apple. It is all personal preference. Apples ecosystem is light years ahead and better. Apple had significantly better support and stores, where you can simply get your battery replaced, with a OEM battery. It all depends on the person.

    • @Onnohh
      @Onnohh 11 months ago +2

      @Calebflying2025 I think that Samsung may have a better ecosystem than Apple. They have all the regular things (earphones, computers, tablets, etc) then also make way more things that Apple doesnt make (TVs, smarthome equipment, fridges, etc) then also have a lot better compatability with anything non-Samsung (or Apple)

    • @Calebflying2025
      @Calebflying2025 11 months ago +1

      @Onnohh It is preference, but I couldn’t disagree more. Samsung has more stuff to connect, but Apples ecosystem- It works flawless. It makes connecting or FaceTime, etc, Easy and fast. Apple also updates the software often. I tried, I had the galaxy watch and Android. I couldn’t FaceTime and had to use other platforms, apps. I can use I message for free some Airplanes- WiFi. I just think that Apples ecosystem is years ahead. The problem is that Android is trying to do on a 200 devices, where Apple can perfect it on just Apple products.

    • @Onnohh
      @Onnohh 11 months ago

      @Calebflying2025Did you have the galaxy watch and a galaxy phone? I think that Samsung devices have the kind of mutual compatability that youre talking about. But Facetime is an Apple only features and its only helpful in places (like the USA) where the other person that you want to talk to also has an Apple device. Outside of the USA, everyone uses universally compatible apps for all these things. Samsung and other androids also have RCS which is the same as Imessage and can text over wifi. Apple finally got forced to adopt it but they didn't adopt all the features still, so texting (in the default texting apps like ppl in the USA use) is still not perfect. Stuff like that is the issue that I have with Apple's ecosystem. Yes it is nice if you only want to use Apple products and live in the USA where most other people have Apple products, but it's simotaionouly anti consumer and allows apple to compete via artificially limiting compatibility with competitor's products, instead of by making the best product. Not saying you can't enjoy it tho lol, I just take issue with how Apple leverages it in that way

    • @Schmidtscards
      @Schmidtscards Year ago +18

      @steviecoleman9260Bluetooth spen is a weak argument. I've been using the note since it came out. I use the spen but rarely have i ever used the Bluetooth portion and now have the 25 ultra and it's not missed. I tried the 24 ultra and sent it back. The 25 ultra has been better. If a feature that is barely used is a hill you want to die on then I don't know what to tell you. I don't think it's coming back and over 90% of people won't care

      Actually it's because the iPhone customers would care less how something works. To them it's a plug and play system as compared to Android customers who have knowledge to customize their phone to their liking.

      I did the exact same thing, I had the 16 pro max in desert gold, I realized how far behind iPhone actually is in terms of AI capabilities, especially Siri in comparison to gemi is a huge difference, and obviously circle to search magic eraser and all these really cool and useful things are just not working or just don't have it on the iPhone, also that snapdragon 8 elite chip in the Samsung and the spen which I use for colouring 😅 lol and use it for photo AI generation the Galaxy for me is 100% better

      @mattd8670 I was the same way at 1st. I have everything apple except the TV. But I have the apple credit card & apple TV app with all the accessories. I kept my iPad pro because it can still function just fine without the iPhone. I sold my apple watch & bought the galaxy 7. I bought the tablet s9 and this thing is nice. Another thing I love about it, I can add storage to it with an SD card. I love my galaxy s25 ultra. This phone is a beast.

    • @traceyliddle204
      @traceyliddle204 Year ago

      @MattD_2243 I have done it, kept my iPad, MacBook and Apple TV box (no better tv streaming box in my experience). Everything just rubs along nicely. I haven’t always solely used Apple services for example iCloud for file storage, that has always been OneDrive for me. AirPods still useful but I also got some Buds 3 pro and they sync great with the iPad. I have now treated myself to a galaxy watch ultra which is a great alternative to the AWU I had, some aspects of the GWU I prefer, like the round face and the exercise tracking options. I really,love having the best of what works for me even if they don’t have the same brand name.

    I reached my limit with Apple and switched to Pixel 8 Pro a year or so ago and I'm NEVER going back to iOS. Even though iOS TOTALLY ripped off Android completely with iOS 18.

  • @garvinw
    @garvinw Year ago +13

    The pixelation was caused by Apple not Android. Apple forced any message not using iMessage to use the old SMS/MMS communication which limits the size. It worked both ways... if an iPhone user sent something non-iMessage, it was pixilated.

    This is why I've been rocking both Samsung and Apple since 2016. I have my iphone for friends and family, they all love Imessage, and i have my Galaxy because it's my phone of choice. That way the Apple loyalists in my family cant cry about messing up the group chats. I prefer android, but i do like Apple pay and apple watches. That being said my S25 ultra seems like the iphones, even smoother than my iphone 15 promax.

    iPhone is the phone you have just because your kids or family has iPhone and you wanna stay in the ecosystem to make it easy to stay in contact with them and to be socially correct. Let's be honest, however, if you want a device that is a true flagship, and you can truly have fun with and enjoy something different at any time without having a subscription or creating a shortcut to have, then Samsung is the device for you. It has endless customization capabilities, more features than you can ever use, and it doesn't charge you every month to customize your device. Buy once and it's yours forever. Most are free. Nothing on iPhone is free. So I keep an iPhone just to be in the loop so to speak, but my mind devices are Samsung. Other androids as well. Great video sir. You always knock it out the park.

    • @Zsweeze
      @Zsweeze Year ago +6

      Everything on iPhone is free. You can choose to pay but nothing is forced. And the first thing you said is so wrong. Just your own opinion and you explaining for yourself why you don’t use an iPhone. You are unsure yourself.

    • @pronetodancing24
      @pronetodancing24 Year ago

      @ZsweezeActually that's not wrong. A LOT of older people were purchasing the early iPhones purely based on the fact that the younger generation was getting them. FaceTime made it easier for families to stay connected at the time so that reputation has carried for years and is a big factor in their success. It may not necessarily be the case now, but a lot of people bought iPhones in the earlier days based on connectivity and reliability. That's not the case anymore because Samsung has caught up in those categories by fully integrating their system with Google, while also pushing their hardware at times and giving us a polished abundance of features for quality of life & entertainment.

    I'm on an S23 Ultra last two years, I'm in Lapland, Finland at the moment. The S-Pen bluetooth connectivity has been vital on this trip.
    Sammy took that away with the 25U.
