I’m so sorry this happened to you. What a nightmare indeed! They had better refund you and give you a discount on a future cruise. No one would even think that a current, valid passport would be problematic for boarding. Ugh.
Coach, technically, you didn't fly halfway around the world. You flew there and back, i would say you qualify for around the world.. Have you received any replied back from Carnival yet?

Not yet, from Carnival…good thing I didn’t stay there waiting for their help from GUEST CARE, smdh, so disappointing
