Man these words. It'd a shame how "mainstream" music doesn't represent real life like this anymore.
Awww Man, this one was good but Jason has some masterpieces!! Elephant, Cover Me Up, If We Were Vampires, Decoration Day, Dress Blues, Children Of Children, Overseas, Last Of My Kind. He is a wordsmith for our day.
God forbid he reacts a faster song and not the songs that have been beaten to death
@@pamela1144 This IS a masterpiece. Top 5 Isbell song of all time IMO
Ah, the best songwriter working. Or one of, anyway.
Best artist going right now!
Jason’s music is fine and he’s underrated as a guitar player, but the magic is in his lyrics.
Anything by Jason Isbell will knock you off your feet.
Love Jason & the 400 Unit and can recommend a dive into their catalogue. Their live performances are even better than the studio album versions.
Had no idea he could shred on the guitar. WOW!
Yoooooooooo, if you want to hear some GOOD music that's kind of outside the mainstream, find some tunes by Jason's former band, Drive By Truckers. Saw them a couple of times, they're the real deal. Southern rock tradition, beefed up.
He is one of the best songwriters
