I always really liked Cristian Suss as a player. Sometimes he was a bit hotheaded but always showed great diverse controled table tennis. Strong serves, great acceleration from the backhand side, good at playing short points by playing into his opponents exposed sides and good serve receives. He wasnt always consistent but always played very smart to match his opponents..
He definetly was at is top in 2010/2011 where he was almost unbeaten in Champion League and was probably the second best European player during ETTC 2010.
Im still sad that he and Timo lost the 2005 WTTC doubles final against Wang Liqin and Kong Linghui. This silver medal was probably his best achievement during his career.
It was nice to see him play his last match against probably the most important player in his career having been on the same team for quite some time.
Dear Christian you will not be forgotten!
