I love this film by any of its titles. It's a shame that Tobe seemed very displeased with it. During production he quit, only to come back at the very end. He gave interviews in the years after saying lots of it wasn't shot by him, that it's not his movie, etc. Kim Henkel, the writer, has said similar about his original script. Same with Wayne Bell and the soundtrack. But I think it's a good film with some very "Tobe" shots and the lighting/colors/photography can be stunning. I like how it's staged like a play around one main set (the motel). Neville Brand is great, along with Robert England and Marilyn Burns, too.
