      USB-C, HDMI or Display port. Easy to find through the manual. www.eizo.se/support/db/files/manuals/03V60023A1/UM-03V60023A1-7.pdf

    Thank you very much for this video. Quick question: why would you use an external calibration device, is it more accurate than the built-in one?

      @WexPhotoVideo  Год назад

      Hello! Always use the built-in if it has it. Some monitors don't have built in devices unfortunately

      That depends on the quality of the device, if you have a lower end device and just ColorNavigator as the calibration device, better stick with the built in one.

    Does this monitor come with connection cables in the box? Will need to connect using mini display port to an older MacBook Pro.

      It will come with some cables but not all of them; you can see on the website what's included :)

    My Eizo CG2700x will not pass validation after calibration - average Delta E 24.99 - Maximum 60.97 and White 37.87 - what could be possibly the reason for this weird values - I have another EIZO 2420 - all ok - all passed the validation - Target was Proofprint....

    Maybe a silly question but all this profiles that you showed ( for sRGB, rec.709 etc.) is it a LUT’s slots or is it only internal profiles? In other words can I upload a LUT Into the monitor? If I would create one with Light Illusion Color Space for example? Thanks for the update and for a great video, very useful!

      Yes, you can, since this model is 3DLUT capable. Lightillusion’s site has dedicated instructions for Eizo monitors.

    Can you get 10 bit display with usbC connection ?

    Generally great monitors, and I'd be lost without mine, but I found it very difficult to connect say an extra HDMI cable at the bottom rear to a previously set up system without taking the whole thing apart and laying it flat on a desk, just not enough room to get to the ports which are also very close together. Monitors generally these days just too slim and compact with everything hidden away. How about someone building something that has a "detachable" set of connector points on a block that can come down out front of the screen or at the back away from the monitor body for easy access - bit like a usb splitter block? I think that could make cable managment easier too.

    • @Klotgren
      @Klotgren Год назад

      You can just turn the monitor to portrait mode and you have easy access to all the in and outputs.

      @@Klotgren No. As I said "with a ** previously set up system**"- ie with cables already connected to other ports... rotating the monitor requires those to be disconnected. Rotating might give better access at the outset, but if you set up with only a few ports connected, changing/adding connections is difficult - especially if you have limited space (like I do). 🙂

    Nope, not pronounced I-ZO. It is correctly pronounced AY-ZO per EIZO's own corporate video. Also see the correct pronunciation in the EIZO Wikipedia, which also shows AY-ZO. And one more reference... see the 2021 Scientific & Technical Awards EIZO Acceptance Speech video where Masato Nakashima, the Senior Product Manager at EIZO, pronounces it as AY-ZO. In Japanese, the "ei" together is usually pronounced as an AY sound just like when we say the Japanese word Sensei - Senˈsā.

      Hi Andy, thank you for raising this point - you are correct about the pronunciation in Japan as it is pronounced AY-ZO. However, in the UK, Europe and US it is pronounced I-ZO. These can be used interchangeably depending on your preference of course.

      @@EIZOLimited As a form of respect toward the Eizo company and the Japanese culture, it's actually quite easy to pronounce the name correctly. I'm seeing a lot more RUclipsrs reviewing the newer Eizo monitors pronouncing it correctly from all over the world even in the USA.
