I have never seen before actual non-calls where they stopped after throwing a flag and just said "Whoops, no worries, wasn't actually a penality."
The regular non-calls were so bad I had to say to myself, "Ugh, this doesn't feel great but it happens in fits and spurs to everyone so it's just a part of the game."
In other words, it's never just about how good the people are, there's always some thing that can undermine you, but everyone's susceptible. So it's not Team A + Team B. Each game is instead Team A and its maybe surprise flags +Team B and their maybe surprise flags.
It's a weird dark balance. But a kind of almost-fair in its unfairness.

He's a very good QB and I'm happy for Detroit fans that they got a respectable team. I don't understand. Why boo him at all? He's just doing his job. What's he supposed to do? Say, "Coach, we're playing the Lions, a team I love. I can't play against them." No. He's got to go compete, the same as any opposing QB. No one's saying cheer for or root for him to beat the Lions, but booing him is a bit unnecessary, especially after all he gave to this team. Just sit there and keep your mouth shut, unless you're trying to be loud when the Rams are on offense, like any fans are supposed to be doing. Booing a guy like him shows a complete lack of class.

Not mad at the non call on the 3rd down that Nukua could have caught, I’m mad at Mcvay not going for it on 4th down when your in Lions territory. You don’t punt the ball with only one time out and your team is losing and you try to rely on a defense that always will give up the big play. The way Stafford was throwing this game to Puka, I rather he go for it on 4th down and 14 than punt the ball with very little time left.
Congrats to the Lions on a good game, I’m glad to finally see them have success in the playoffs and will be rooting for them the rest of the way to win it all. Respect from a Rams fan.

i couldn't believe the precision passing goff was executing vs the rams...im under the impression its hard practice, confidence, play calling, all the constilations were in alignment... epic...its a happy moment for lions mgmt and fans ...on 2021 i bought a lions skull cap cuz they reminded me of my HS team 0-10... mainly cuz all the best athletes played in varsity...anyway fun game!!

The trade of Goff for Stafford has been great for both teams. I have never seen a trade of a superstar like Stafford help both teams get where they want to go. The Lions have a great young core of players, so it may help them for years to come. The Rams won a Superbowl. The Lions are still playing and that means they are 1 of 8 teams still with a shot at winning it all. And it's a home game again!

Rams would have won a Super Bowl with Jared Goff anyways. Pad StatsFord led the NFL with 20 INTs that year including 4 in the playoffs. Aaron Donald and OBJ won the Rams that ring. Stafford was on the team.

The difference in the game was that Lions had big plays that resulted in TDs while the Rams had FGs. Lions defense did well enough to slow the run game but continues to get torched in the passing game. As long as Goff has time to throw, he will do well.

The officiating has gotten out of hand. NFL needs to make.. at a minimum.. ref calls reviewable under the challenge system. Campbell didn't use any of his challenges all game, but if the blatant blown ref calls were reviewable, Campbell could have challenged that and we would have prob got points at the end of the first half. Non calls are something different... prob dont do anything with those.. but at least make blown calls reviewable.

The refs missed called. The rams could’ve won if the refs helped us out. BUT what we REALLY needed wasn’t help from the refs, we needed to convert red zone FGs to TDs. That’s what killed the rams. Lack of execution in the red zone.

Rams fan here it hurts to lose a playoff game but Detroit deserves it mixed feelings about this one.
Goff would drive me crazy at times when he was our quarterback i had a feeling the Lions were going to win this game.
We certainly didn't do ourselves any favors getting Field Goals instead of touchdowns in the redzone.
Stafford played great was beat up our defense was a no show in the first half did better in the second half.
Regardless for the Rams to make it this far with all rookies is an accomplishment congratulations Lions finish the Job.

Awesome game, Stafford back in the building he did his thing and it was just an overall really good game. Topped the weekend & another home game. Lets get another and win that championship. Then on to the Superbowl but first thing first lets win this one. GO LIONS!!!!!

Everyone wants to mention the no call on the PI. But nobody is talking about the botched false start call against Detroit near the end of the first half. They grt that right, and Detroit has a 1st down on the LA 36 with 3 TOs and 1:06 on the clock. And to that point, their offense hadn't been stopped. So it's feasible to believe they get 3 or 7 points there
