Origin:
Lumborum: Iliac and Sacral Crests [Erector Spinae]
Thoracis: Ribs 12th to Rib 7th
Cervicis: Angles of Ribs 3 - 6
Insertion:
Lumborum: Ribs 12th to Rib 7th
Thoracis: Ribs 6th to 1st
Cervicis: Transverse Processes of C4 to C6
Functions:
1- Extension of the Trunk @ Neck @ the Spinal Joints
2- Lateral Flexion of the Trunk @ Neck @ the Spinal Joints
3- Ipsilateral Rotation of the Trunk @ Neck @ the Spinal Joints
Nerve:
Dorsal (Posterior) Rami of the Spinal Nerves at the Corresponding Levels
Is scapula, the same as shoulder blade? Cuz i get knots kinda underneath my shoulder blades
