This music video was a whole movie😭 like I would 100% watch that.
Cardi was the creative director on this video and the vision she said she was going for was her basically killing all the press and unnecessary news constantly made about her. When she would appear at court for the assault charges she was facing she would always walk into court in expensive high fashion outfits, Then it would be in the press and the blogs with headlines saying “Cardi doesn’t take court serious” , “Cardi thinks she’s above the law” , “Cardi thinks the courtroom is a fashion show” etc etc.., so that is why in this video when she’s arriving into the courtroom she has on a dramatic over the top ensemble because she was poking back at the press in real life while wearing all white to prove her innocence.. a lot of people took this video too literal 🤣 when Cardi was only using her frustration and anger with the press and put it in her art. She is simply playing the role of a woman serial killer who is fed up.

(Along with Dreamdoll, all the other dolls, Latto, Lakeyah, etc) Now what people dont talk about is Nicki's daughters which isnt a shady thing. Examples Doja Cat, Yung baby Tate, Doechii... These girls have their own raw talent and took notes/inspirations from her. They would never discredit her or sign a shady deal to purposely try to kick her out of the industry 😉🤭
