They may, but I have not had any problem. We did have 8 rats caught in other parts of the house one year when renovations were done next door.but not in the studio nor storage areas. They need more food than this to encourage them. I think you run about as much risk as any other situation. :)
On your video on aye eye, your assumption are inaccurate. It is more sophisticated than you portray. It does learn from all input. I worked as an analyst, for Europe's biggest computer company, on stuff that was for sale to certain clients. That was sold with a phrase "it can fix Nd a noodle in a hatrack".
