I'm still working on my style of playing this game with a focus on full auto, microwave beam, and remote detonation. I'd like to get a smoother run uploading without embarrassing screw ups lol.

Funny, the day you uploaded this is the day I got my first successful UN run of the new DLC (without crashing and dying immediately after ofc).
Your gameplay has gotten so much smoother and better mechanically since I started watching you, keep up the great work man
Not to mention I always overrely on the lock on rockets, so seeing someone play the dlc without them is interesting to watch

I knew many foreign exchange students, and for me, only two of them had high energy, the rest were quite shy, or were relatively normal energy. I had 7+ foreign exchange students in my high school. 3 of them were not shy.

Remember guys: "You're required to use the sticky bombs on the Cacodemons."
Well it s mainly true only in the first 3 level of the base game. Sticky bomb are good for those because without upgrade ammo and hot swapper full auto is weak. But with every bit of equipment full upgrade sticky bomb is kinda useless.equipment fiend frag and remote detonation already give you all the blast you need.

I really wish i was able to see their health with the microwave beam with the dot crosshair, which i prefer. But i'm not too upset about it, its umpossible to be upset with abel around! Great gameplay and thank you for opening my eyes to the beauty of the full auto and microwave beam

There should be a "hybrid" crosshair mode which combines the default with the dot overlaid.
@@-41337 they already did that with the super shotguns meathook, the plasma rifle needs its meter for both mods, the micro missiles need the amount of missiles there as well, bolt can stay the same, rocket launcher needs the lock on thingy when you lock on to something. arbalast i think should not be changed, dblade should tho. bfg and unmayekr are alright as they are with the dot crosshair. das all i want!

I love how Doomguy can survive the Icon of Sin and being launched from a cannon into a wall at 4000 mph, but a regular, non-demonic, Earth shark is still a big hazard for him.

BTW you can actually get the turret off of the Possessed Arachnatron if you shoot it right when it spawns. There's a like a 1-2s window before it gets possessed where the hit point is vulnerable. This is for the fight that starts at around 40:00.

I never usually watch gameplay videos because I just don't see the entertainment value when I could just play the game myself, but this kept me gripped throughout. Very impressive display of skill and some nice fun commentary too. Keep it up my dude 👌
Tip: at 49:31 instead of swimming back after taking bfg ammo, you can climp the wall at your left (this is an intended feature) xD

There's just something so satisfying about watching Mayo play. He may not be a hardcore speedrunner like Lightningbreak, but there's certain elegant well thought out, yet spontaneous smoothness to his gameplay.

As I've started upping the difficulty, I've noticed that some fodder enemies can been terrifying (especially on the Holt). Hard to work up the skills for UN, but your videos are inspiring 🤘
I love watching your gameplay. It’s effective and highly skilled, but somehow a little more human and relatable than a lot of the super-technical guys who seem to have everything perfectly planned (although I also love watching some Zero Master)

I remember when mayo use to not like precision bolt saying he not a golden sniper with it using rockets instead now all in this dlc ur whole playstyle is now being godly with that precision bolt very cool man

I've heard that Unmaker is actually more useful in this expansion than the BFG. Something about ammo management.
Probably never going to play this game (I was never more than passable), but listening to your enjoyment and analysis is great fun. Would love to see how you do the missing section of Mars Core from your drunk run sometime. Also, strategy guide videos for the Unmakyr and the Destroyer Blade would be nice.

I kinda want id to add a heavy enemy that forces you to glory kill or chainsaw it, if you don't it explodes and leaves a toxic hazard on the floor similar to the Cybermancubs' but lasts longer. I think it'd force players to pay attention to weapon combos so they can gk it and stop it leaving a massive hazard in the middle of the arena or be more conservative with their chainsaw fuel so they can just delete it with that when it spawns

I love how you take all of the weapon mods that the community tends to hate on and demonstrate their value. Full Auto Shotty, Unmaykr, Remote Det, and Microwave Beam most of all have all gotten a lot of hate but are clearly useful. Hats of to id for adding enemies that get players using them, like MWB for Spirit demon. I never realized that you can just pulse it to stun demons - very useful. And Remote Det to falter demons is also of great use.
Damn I can’t even beat it on UV. Yet... amazing man Damn you kill so fast!
