From what I understood, it's basically about a couple that seems to be in a relationship for a while but planning on taking things further. MMJ are singing in the perspective of the girl, whose birthday is coming up so she marked it on the calendar so she's sure her partner doesn't forget about her special day, but apparently he didn't notice and even ate the pudding she was so eager to eat on her special day, so she's very upset and is questioning whether or not her partner really likes her or not because of these things but she still really loves him and wants to take the relationship further, thinking about marriage and children in their future. In the end, she can't stay mad for him for long because she loves him so much, going as far as even spoiling him even though she's upset at him.
It's just a super cute and wholesome song portraying a relationship between two people
