The design looks great! It's clean and simple. On my build, I probably over-engineered it a bit. As a result, it has taken far more time to finish than I anticipated. My goal was to build a shallow drafting boat for inshore fisihing that would be relatively light but able to handle any rough water I might encounter. I want to take it down to the Texas gulf coastal area between Freeport and Port Lavaca, but also hope to be moving to Florida when I retire where I plan to fish the inshore waters on the Atlantic side between Saint Augustine and Ponce Inlet. Nice Job on your build!
I think it looks great. I think there are a lot of different ways you can reduce the weight in future builds. I'm, at the moment designing a sciff that I'm still struggling with deciding whether to use composite materials with styrofoam or both. But I think you have done a great job. Thank you for sharing.
Awesome channel...been wanting to build something similar, but not sure what size I want yet. Can I ask where you get the foam blocks from, I build wake boards and boogie boards and I'm looking for a source for the foam. Thanks for taking time to document your build..
I am thinking about making this boat available as a kit... as in you glue all the foam pieces together and build it yourself... what do you all think?
I might be interested. Depends on how the final boat turns out.
Did u make a kit for it
Nice work! Absolutely brilliant. I'm so inspired by this build, my friend!
Thanks for all the heads up.

Better to over build than to be too light! Finishing is the longest part of the process but certainly is the most important!
