For those who don't know what the word 'codependent' means, it means "excessive emotional or psychological reliance on a partner, typically one who requires support on account of an illness or addiction." In Sam and Dean's case, it's psychologically needing each other to the point where they can't be fully happy without each other in their lives. It stems from trauma from Mary's death and being abandoned by John for weeks at a time. All they had was each other.
Funny episode, but I always remember the last scene and Dean talking about his sleeping and drinking habits 5:23. That was the first time I realized how traumatized hunters must be, all the nightmares and memories of monsters
This episode is so funny and sad. Funny bcos of Jensen ackles acting . He pulls of comedy scenes so well. And at a point I really thought both were going crazy 😅 glad they came out of that and felt sad for sam. Poor guy is going through so much . He is feeling like he can do nothing right 🥺
One of my favorite lines is when the doctor says, "Isn't there an elephant named babar?" and Dean says, "I don't know. I don't have any elephant books." SO matter of fact. LOL
Everybody always talks about how funny Dean is, but Sam is funny as hell in this episode. That scene where he's high always cracks me up... "Spectacu-lacular!" 😂 "Maybe you finally cracked" Haha!! Jared Padalecki can definitely pull off the comedy scenes. They're both brilliant actors 👌
I still think giving Sam the rage... uh... thing feels a bit out of nowhere? If anyone has shown more rage it's Dean. And the times Sam does show rage he absolutely have all the reasons to be pissed. So I personally felt that part kinda felt a bit out of nowhere?
Actually I don't think so . Yes in starting of the show Dean has more rage . But after seasons passed when sam started mingling with demons and started drinking their blood he is getting angrier and also he started this apocalypse by letting Lucifer out . Mainly he is angry at himself . And Dean after coming back from the dead he looks so done with this hunting life and is more depressed than angry
@@manasas868 He's def got anger of course and moments of rage, but still I don't think we see it being without reason. Even then I feel like it's not coming out that clearly. Maybe because it's like Dean says. Swallow it up and keep moving.
@@manasas868 I feel like in reality if you break it down Sam has more rage and dean has more guilt and depression. The only difference is. Dean masks his depression with rage and a rough outer shell whereas Sam hides his rage with depression and guilt. So when Sam actually explodes it seems like its out of know where but he's just really good at hiding it until it becomes too much. Same with Dean and his depression.
PUDDING!!
That was originally Sams line but Jared thought it would make more sense for Dean to say it
Whoever wanted that to be Sam's line obviously didnt know the characters.

That is simultaneously heart-breaking and heart-warming.

You have now heard probably the most iconic line (word) in the entire series
One of my favorite lines is when the doctor says, "Isn't there an elephant named babar?" and Dean says, "I don't know. I don't have any elephant books." SO matter of fact. LOL

Did you edit out the "boop"? Really?
I don't edit my videos and I haven't for a long time. If its not in I didn't have a reaction as this is a reaction channel and can only give you that.
@@SimpleReactions Sorry for the above comment. I really enjoy your RUclips channel. Thanks, Emma.
Dean pissed me off at the end. That's such an unhealthy mindset to push someone into.
Well, Dean is not a very health person :D
