In separation after 18 years. It took me a long time to see that I was being mistreated because it was so underhanded and nefarious. You just spelt out my situation. I trauma-bonded with this person following difficult marriage and divorce. For good half of the 17 years with him...I felt content. Until in recent years that someone started being emotionally unavailable which I didn't read too much into it. When lies and deception became order of the day...I switched off my connection and overnight. He never bothered to ask me why and after 18 months - he contacted me wanting some items of his. Ya know what I love most about this video.... Is that it was recorded 8/2... And the story he's telling is my current situation, but it all kicked off 8/3. I wouldn't have connected with it if I had listened on the release date but I'm so glad it came to me at this time, because now I'm looking at it with 6 weeks of experience and he's shining light into the dark places that are still fading out in my story.

You just spelt out my situation. I trauma-bonded with this person following difficult marriage and divorce.
For good half of the 17 years with him...I felt content.
Until in recent years that someone started being emotionally unavailable which I didn't read too much into it.
When lies and deception became order of the day...I switched off my connection and overnight.
He never bothered to ask me why and after 18 months - he contacted me wanting some items of his.
Told him that I have no storage and I have nothing of his.
For some reason after this I felt the need to seek a meeting with him - he agreed and later changed his mind and became unavailable.
That was my final truth - that I'd seek no further date.
I will cut off energy forever... doing that even though difficult as theres children.

What’s wrong with the foot? Turmeric, ginger and lemon blended in the juicer with ice. Strain and drink it. It takes some getting used to, but it helps reduce inflammation.

Lyn!! This is literally happening to me right now!!! Was dealing with a baby daddy, so emotionally unavailable and would only give me scraps of affection. Had to pay for his stuff most of the time. When I broke it off he became so emotionally abusive and went to go bad mouth me to his friends, telling folks I am insecure etc. Literally blocked him last week and he proceeded to message me emotionally abusive words. I could see him what he truly is despite him telling me he wants to marry me and have a future with me. This is my exact situation. Scarily accurate. Thank you so much for this confirmation.
