Maybe even set up a FB video chat on how to use it. #1 first tip do not leave the charger switch in the on position on the base unit The charger is a weak point and if the charger burns up it will take out the entire unit. So I don't use rechargable batteries. I use regular alkaline batteries and when they go dead I swap them out. I don't take any chances with the weak charger system. Other than that it's a great set. There's alot to learn on that system so give yourself some patience. I was thinking about doing a how to use Legacy 990 video but wasn't sure since so many are going base 3.

Woohoo!!! I got my 990 about a year ago on a "good deal" for the time and a great deal based on how high they jumped up again in price. I don't have MTH command control yet but I'll work on that. Congrats Corey and I look forward to your first Lionel engine video.

The cable goes from the Base to your computer. You can back up the base. The modules are used to update the HH and Base
