I feel this video could have been 20 minutes long, I would have loved every minute of it

Also, it’s crazy how in depth we can still go into some of the details in tracker loop
Like the initial defensive touch is ‘rarely’ outside the 7ft circle, this means partners are usually closer together and the recovery set is usually much easier, leading to more defensive conversions
These videos on defence are amazing Gavin.

There's a handful of additional situations and nuances that deserve their own spotlight--maybe another video even?
I would love to revisit this topic at a later date and analyze a few things:
      1. The rarely outside 7ft concept you've mentioned above.
      2. Mirroring the body defender which puts you in a better position for the recovery set.
      3. Communicating with the offensive player (fakes) with your movements to convince them a shot is open or not open.
      4. Communicating with your partner with your movements to make them aware of the shots you intend to cover.
      5. Pros and cons of the tracker loop defense and other defenses for that matter.
      We've barely touched the surface!

Clark and Buddy are also tremendously talented and hardworking athletes who have played at a high level for a long time. Put their intelligence next to those attributes and it’s no wonder they’re so successful!

This video is amazing! Really good explanation and visualization. Would love it if your video footage would be slowed down even more, so my beginner brain could process it even better. And also showing the video footage again after the visualisation. Maybe an additional long form of this video could be interesting.
Thanks a lot for putting your time and energy into this. These kind of videos make the whole sport rise in it's level.
    Greetings from Red Eagles Berlin

this video was amazing! the only issue i have with tracker follow is often to player behind the net is not involved with the play while they are looping around Vs if the server goes and everyone moves counter clockwise its way easier to be in the right stop already and or have a way easier time adjusting.

Hey Carlos, sounds like you’re describing the ‘server follow’ defense where the setter is on the right side and the tracker follows the server counter-clockwise. Totally agree that that defense has some huge benefits as well and we’re considering making another video on that one-have to ask Double Clutch for video permissions first though :)
