How did "No more people who, when you think of them" become so funny? Last time it made me chuckle when they kept it going, but when Mark brings it out this episode I couldn't stop laughing.
Amazed that Watson's school subject challenge of Penelope Pitstop was IT and not... PE. The one that's the first two letters of her name, and that they'd already mentioned.
I love the closeness in these videos. The chuckles, the smiles, the replication of poses, the little jokes. Always looking forward for the next upload!
When they chose this, I thought they meant like "Tom Jones" He's a solid gold legend, isn't he? I'm sure if we ask Rob Brydon he would agree, Tom Jones = solid gold legend.
I think my favourite thing is Tim named a Penelope to get the category "No more school subjects" on the grounds of PE. He played himself twice o the same category.
Another great episode. I'm really enjoying this each week. Can't believe Tim fell victim to Penelope Pitstop again. 😂 Mark Watson was lucky on a few counts with Rod Hull. Obviously the Rodney and Actor thing were discussed; also, his surname definitely sounds like Pull, which is a regular shot in Cricket.
Do you think any Hannah's would have worked for that? Like Hannah Montana? or is it specifically 'ANOTHER' forename. as in hannah backwards is hannah again which is the same one, not 'another'...?
Rod Hull: He was a fan of the football club Bristol Rovers, and he recorded a song called "Bristol Rovers All the Way" in 1974, with the squad of that time.
Literally the subject he started the rule with was in there twice. The fact that nobody mentioned it I had to check the spelling, I thought I was going mad!
@@BeingTheHunt He was probably going to go with a different category for Penelope no? Then when he changed to Pele he made the category no more subjects
What's your favourite answer of all time? Everytime a new episode pops up I'm thinking 'Fred Dibnah - No more steeplejacks'. It has broadened my English vocabulary. Thanks, lads. It's been ever so useful.
I was just thinking the other day how bizarre it is that 0.0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001 is greater than -1. 🤷♂️ Maybe a haunting of Horne logic in the mists.
The joy these games give me is always tempered by the fact I have to watch mark enjoy red wine. Man I miss red wine so much. (Can’t have it for medical reasons, not “he turns into a bampot” reasons) I just want one glass (big glass) to nurse for an hour. I’ll get over it. I’m focusing on commentator/carragher already. See.
Loved this Game 8... just felt too short!!! A little more banter and secrets rules before Mark signs in ("How will he demonstrate the size of a pizza?") - had me rolling! I thought, when they vaguely started saying, "You look nice...." (it was for some inside joke not yet revealed)
Just put this discussion to bed (as much as I LOVE it) According to the BBC and his own wiki pages, his full name is Patrick "Pat" Clifton In regards to Hargreaves creation, Mr Men were never given a first name, they just have a title and surname
3 in a row now for little Alex Horne, a dynasty is developing! Maybe it's time to sub in Theroux for the next game to see if he can have a crack at stopping this wild run that Horne is on?
I'm exactly Tim's age and I had the very same IT experience in school as in it definitely wasn't a timetabled thing, just 'filled the gaps like custard'.
@@maqzzz couldnt you argue that the O is a zero... so the last 'letter' is P... which is the furthest down the alphabet? Edit: ignore this. I am stupid.
I’d love to know if anyone has a name that sounds similar to “Get into the ground at 10:30 for an 11 o’clock start”. Also this series is my favourite thing on RUclips.
Penelope Pitstop also has PE (twice), which is the subject Tim used to make the rule about no more subjects... :)
Amazing, I didn't even realise that
Was hoping someone else noticed that!
Pelé is short for Penelope
I think if Key brings up Penelope Pitstop ever again it should be accompanied by a red flashing box that says "Risky Play".
This is a great idea
It was a very risky play in Game 14!
This has aged brilliantly when you think about it
Big if
@@guitarwhill If you think about it.
I was so excited when the question of Postman Pat's surname came up because I WAS THE ONE WHO ADDED IT TO WIKIPEDIA
You bastard!
I always wonder who you people are.
I immediately went and looked it up on Fandom, but thank you for your service nonetheless
You, my friend, are, and I hope you dont mind me saying this, a solid gold legend.
I would love to know how the information about his full name comes about? Is it in an episode or from somewhere else?
How did "No more people who, when you think of them" become so funny? Last time it made me chuckle when they kept it going, but when Mark brings it out this episode I couldn't stop laughing.
I've been laughing out loud more watching this "series" than during any other piece of media in a long long time.
My favourite thing is that it's still funny by set 3
14:19 is the quickest I have seen anyone change their expression.
"sweep" is definitely something you do in cricket
14:20 the horror in Key's eyes. I love this game so much.
I love how Alex and Tim are making a real effort to wear the same outfit for every episode. And Mark is wearing pajamas.
Well, I wouldn't mind if Alex changed out of that horrendous shirt, to be honest :D
I think Tim's are pyjamas too

I love the closeness in these videos. The chuckles, the smiles, the replication of poses, the little jokes.

Alex's laugh after "It's quite a good category..." brings me joy.
This has become the highlight of my week, recently. Tim, mark and mr Hancock are always great to watch
Please never stop guys. This series is one of the best things on youtube.
Actually stop everything else and just do this all day. :) I need daily videos.
Whoever does the English subtitles does a great job every week
The best description of Rod Hull ever “had a bird and hoping for the best” 😀
There's something so charming about going out because of Sweep being European. Love these videos!
I'd have tried to argue that he came from China!
You definitely Sweep in cricket. When you think of it.
And it sounds like Keep and 'Well done Keep' was often heard when fielding.
When you think of it, yes.
Over!
True but only when you think of it.
Pete - I love the fact that you are watching this as I can imagine playing this in the pub with you back in London
Who knew that Watson could turn on dreamy-eyes-flirty-magic just like that...
Matt Hancock, for one 😉
Jack Nicklaus’ nickname is The Golden Bear. Solid Gold Legend.
"If I'd been called out I would've fallen on my sword right away" proved to be an effective tactic in subduing the wily Key!
No More Solid Gold Legends!

this game makes me anxious about my short term memory; i could never remember all these categories
Tbf it doesnt matter if you can't remember categories if your competitors can't either
cannot BELIVE rick astley slipped through with Y being almost the last in the alphabet
Lovely IGR this week
The day Penelope Pitstop works will be historic. 0% success rate so far.
Should display even if he opens with it.
I think my favourite thing is Tim named a Penelope to get the category "No more school subjects" on the grounds of PE. He played himself twice o the same category.
As Key always starts he could open with Penelope Pitstop
Was literally crying laughing at the solid gold legend fiasco. I don't even know why its so funny
"I don't think Sweep holds a passport".
I choked on my drink.
He definitely won't be holding one if Matthew Corbett isn't travelling with him!
Key genuinely arguing that IT isn't a thing is pretty amazing. It's been a thing for a good 30 years or more.
At my school it was called ICT
Another great episode. I'm really enjoying this each week.
Can't believe Tim fell victim to Penelope Pitstop again. 😂

Rod Hull is put in the category of "English Male Actors" at the bottom of his Wikipedia page.
