Listen, I'll say this once, and hopefully, you (and anyone else wanting to leave such an ignorant comment) learn something. If you are so opposed to LEGAL ETHICAL hunting, blaming the hunter is NOT the way to change the laws. Look into your local DNR rules and regulations (it is absolutely FASCINATING to see how many people/county apply for a tag vs how many get one vs how many have a successful hunt.) Write your senators if it bugs you so much. You do you, I'll never complain that you don't agree with that me and mine do. Being a keyboard warrior isn't going to help anything but your ego.
Seriously, we were definitely nervous about how beat up it would be after that haul, but it actually held up fantastic. Sled is definitely a good idea to keep in mind!
Niice bear.. congratulations to you and your helpers! Looked like everyone was up to the task 😊 Non hunters might not know this.. but a big male like this is responsible for killing at least four cubs per year! So.. by harvesting him.. you directly allowed other young bears to survive ❤
@@WildOnesHomestead it's a true fact! Nature at its finest.. that's why big males ( bears especially ) are known to actually hunt down mothers with cubs! The best thing about bears is their appeal to people.. and are considered a game species! If they were not.. they would have been wiped out a long time ago! Another thing.. non hunters don't realize that the revenue gained from hunters through conservation buys land.. is used to develop land.. and they're regulated to ensure their population strives! So many animals benefit from deer.. elk.. bear.. moose.. and even wolves.. hunters pay the fees.. and that money ensures their survival. Hikers bikers wildlife watchers contribute as well.. all outdoor equipment is taxed.. and a portion goes directly back into conservation! It's not like hunters can go shoot animals whenever they want.. and as many as they want.. as some believe :) Anyways.. congratulations to you all ❤️ God bless 🙏
I lowered it to 50% volume when I uploaded. Was trying to have it just be background noise, but I will keep that in mind next time. I figured it would be way to long to just have the video be silent. 😅 (muted most of the actual video do to either huffing and puffing my way up that hill or all the random background conversations going on while the bear was being handled.)
@jmj267 We actually got this one about a mile from home. I don't share the area we live on here just to kind of keep it more private for the kiddos but, I will say not up north where most people go to hunt bears. 😅
Sad that man has to fill his ego with killing innocent wildlife!

It was clearly trespassing. Not so innocent. 😝

Congratulations, awesome Wisconsin bear!
Thank you. He is very very excited about it.
Surprised there was any hair left when you got it dragged out. Get a jet sled next time. Nice bear.

Flash goes through the woods like I do now! Slowly! 🥰 Great bear!
Same. We have a little legs. 😂
