Okay this one specifically has the music exactly on point that it is muffled enough to be ambient, and the rain and thunder is not too near that it pings and flicks in your consciousness. Two thumbs up for this one I think it's the best!

This is really oddly comforting. I'm 50 and it reminds me of my Grandparents. Driving in their Lincoln headed out of Metro NYC going to their little farm in the Catskills for a weekend with them with my brother so my parents could have a break from us. LOL

I’ve been struggling from a while by unbearable thoughts, just can’t lay down peacefully, stressed over everything, future, and lots of overthinking. 2 todays ago I started playing this audio before bed, it literally helped me a lot, I just keep staring at the video while he’s snoring until I calmly and fully sleep safely. I just feel relaxed and find peace. The world is rushing way too fast for me, I miss childhood days and that little inner child in me is still awake. Although I’m not yet above 20. However, keeping my head up no matter what. This feeling won’t ruin me because I’m not living to get ruined and I won’t allow it to happen, stay positive everyone life is good believe me, just some patience and effort, push yourself don’t get dragged and stay in your place, find a way out. If the door is shut, definitely there will be a window to escape from 💙💙💙💙
I remember playing in front of the fireplace while my Grandma sat in her pink gown and rocked after she had popped me and my cousin popcorn. We didn't watch TV. We just talked about all of our adventures that day and made plans for the next day. It was so quiet. Nothing like the noisy houses of today. We would talk quietly on our little pallets in front of the cozy warm flicker of the fire and dream of making trails in the woods, building straw or brush playhouses in the woods and discovering little forest treasures. Maybe bring back a few acorns gathered with AhDa to plant in a cup or pretty colored leaves to press with an iron between sheets of wax paper or play a game of checkers. One day I'll be wrapped up in her hugs again.

We love these so much because music playing in another room means there is someone else there listening to it, perhaps reading a novel or talking with other friends or family, and we know that while we sleep, we are safe.
My grandmother passed away last year but finding these playlists has been such a comfort to me. She would sometimes have oldies on when I visited her. Every weekend I would visit with her for a few hours and it is still incredibly hard to process.
I always think to myself, "no matter how hard my day was, no matter how bad life gets, i always have this music to listen to"
melancholic is a wonderful word to describe these songs. I always describe it as being a “peaceful sad”. Definitely helps me sleep at night, especially with the election

This reminds me of my grandparents house when I was a kid. It felt like a safe place and always smelled of home cooking. The house is still there but the people are gone now, nothing left but memories printed in my brain.

You have no idea how wonderful this is for my soul and peace of mind. I listen to this at work bc my job, albeit at a desk, is very stressful, yet this music keeps my brain very calm and not just focused, but able to appreciate the art of the music while I perform my job. A million 'thank you's.

This music is so peaceful. Unlike todays music with a bunch of bass and rap and swearing, could give you a headache but this is just so relaxing. This could never give me headaches.

I grew up in Washington state and my parents had me at a very old age, my mom especially would listen to music like this, while I was in the other room I could hear it, rain falling outside, exactly like this video.
I cant pinpoint exactly where the nostalgia of this comes from. My family lives somewhere there’s never been much rain, and this was never the kind of music that got played at gatherings or in my grandparents house. But it soothes something i didn’t need soothing, and i love it
I am so happy I discovered these videos, seriously best background music ever! Having ADHD, I rarely can listen to music that has words while I have to focus on something, but this music somehow is so soothing but also fades to the background for me. I also love the sound of rain, best of both worlds!

this takes me to a place i’ve never been,, the walls that have faded, flower pattern wallpaper, the chairs have yellow cushions that have small ridges if you look close enough and seem to wear skirts,, a pile of toys on the rug, a few building blocks with faded colors and an elephant on wheels, there are no screens anywhere to fog your mind,, the windows are covered with blackout curtains so you won’t be bombed,, your parents are dancing in the next room over while the war fades away in your mind.
